Remember the bizarre baby mozart video tape from the late 90s? Those kids grew up, had kids, and this is what comes next. When I was a baby in the 60s, I probably just stared at the cracks in the ceiling or whatever spinning dangling things I couldn't quite reach that my parents wound up and hung on my crib. (That was before walking to school 5 miles uphill both ways in the snow.)

I think if you had five kids over the past 5 seasons and you thought one could be president, this would probably not be the kid... but they are all VERY special.

Malik is pretty comfortable (and hilarious) in all the interviews I've seen. I don't think he's introverted, just Southern polite maybe?

I recall the Morrii thought it used up to much energy to dunk their first year. I've played plenty of INTENSE driveway games on a nine foot rim and I actually agree that it's a lot harder to stretch and dunk than shoot a bunny layup.

Self also mentioned post game that Devonte's "body is a little tired" ... but not hurt.

@wissox Could have been a quicker game, no doubt. Both teams were in freakout mode all night every time a pitcher threw a couple consecutive balls. Obviously all the concern worked out on the scoreboard. :rolling_eyes:

I'd like to see batter stay in the box the entire at bat, and pitcher pitch (or try a pick off attempt), once they put their foot on the rubber. End the mind games.

Get rid of batting gloves too!

For 25 runs, 10 innings, and 14 pitchers used, I thought the game length was fine. If not for some bonehead plays, it would have ended it sooner. Humongous strike zone probably sped things up a bit.

No way Lightfoot transfers out or redshirts. People need to watch Lightfoot a little more closely--he's a better player and athlete than people seem to realize. He obviously learned a lot (from Lucas probably) about where to be on the floor. Self seems to be getting comfortable with him, so it would not surprise me if he starts some games in the next couple years while the one-and-dones learn the system. The horror.

I'm willing to try it. Long threads kind of get bogged down for me on here... I have to put the "sort by" with "newest" at the top, otherwise it doesn't update very well. Start a thread with a link to Slack for each game and see how it goes.
