Have you not seen KU's QB play the past 11 years? Why would you not want as much competition as possible at a position KU's gotten basically no production from in over a decade?

Man you've already gotten these two freshman written off a trashed based of previous KU QB production - - nice. - - you have no idea what kind of production you could get from these guys - -again nice. No way in hell can you assume that these guys can't produce. just automatically assume - believe me I've been here for all of those 11 years your talking about plus many many more. Jalen Daniels is not as bad as some think. I don't give a dma if you have no line protection NO ONE is going to do squat. Maybe we should put you back there see how you do wit h that line.

I will say this though seeing video of this kid - - he got wheels , kid can run which is good, he will need it , gets the ball out pretty quick at times /lazer - -but besides that your entitled to your opinion just like I am to mine , think if we added anymore at this point needed to be focused more on the O-Line & D-line that's all.

I don't think @Texas-Hawk-10 is writing anyone off. Just saying having someone who has produced at the FBS level so we don't have to rely on 3 true freshmen, which who knows what you'll get, is good.

Welll alrighty then, that's different. Just looking at his stats just didn't blow me away but knowing this sounds better - just seeing 14/5 was thinking ehhh. - You think with is you think it might make a difference with our to incoming FR ?lots of competition

I want them to compete. I think we need to RS two of the freshmen now that Bean is in the fold. Bean, Daniels/Hawley/Easters, Kendrick your top 3. RS the other two frosh. Bean is also a freak show of an athlete. Probably runs in the 4.4's, which behind our line is probably necessary unfortunately.

He won't be here for spring ball but there's a real chance the system will be different in fall camp anyway

Wahab's advanced numbers aren't great. Dave is a lot better in PER, block % is about the same. They're about identical on ORtg and DRtg. Pretty similar on WS. Maybe he'd be better on a better team? Idk. He's definitely A LOT better than Mitch, Curry, et al

Mckissic was defensive POY in the conference as well. He's not a starter at program like KU but I would definitely be intrigued with him coming in to be a rotation piece. Doesn't help us get bigger, longer, athletic though.. Walker and Ty Washington/Pettiford do that..

Isaiah Moss 2.0. You’d think in the right role where doesn’t have to go get 18 every night the TO rate would go down. Just come in and be a 3 and D guy for 15-20 MPG.

Incredible Jayhawk. He didn’t always play in situations that were the best for him, but he always played his ass off. He’s going to make life hell for a lot of good pros. Godspeed, Marcus. Jayhawk nation loves you.

Right, talking skill set. It’s rare for guys to develop such that they change positions at this level. You kind of are what you are outside some improvement shooting and BBIQ things. I’d be happy to be proved wrong on this but I can’t think of a player that went from bad handles to being an effective, ball dominant guard at this level.

Lack of offseason really hurt him. Always tough to transition for JuCo to P5, even tougher this year. The extra season will help him immensely.
