@BShark correct. Dont know why KU fans try to discount Cal in the tournament. He rarely gets upset in the tournament. And people dont mention that Kentucky in 2013 struggled AFTER Nerlens Noel went down for the season.

@BShark when Kentucky decides to play defense, they are a final four caliber team.

@DoubleDD I think the issue is some are viewing this as coach giving Josh the star treatment. IMO, he should have been suspended when Coach first learned of it. I do fear that this will damage his reputation amongst coaches and the athletic department in general. I would have thought at least a one game suspension would have been the minimum, but ultimately we have no control over these things. They need to tighten things up to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

@HighEliteMajor you make good points. The female should be punished also. All involved should not have been there late at night and hopefully they avoid that in the future.

@JayHawkFanToo self said the issue was taken care of in house. Doesn't sound like there will be a suspension.

Well, this is definitely bad publicity that will be discussed all through March. I think there will be a suspension, probably tomorrow and maybe Oklahoma. Fortunately, this is a very tough team that has played in a lot of big games and has dealt with a lot of adversity this year, plus one of the toughest players in basketball, Frank Mason. Cant really sugarcoat this, but Coach will hopefully be able to keep them positive and looking forward to more accomplishments.

@KUSTEVE it's hard to say. The court date is April 12th and he is innocent until proven guilty. I just hope the team is able to fight through this and keep on winning.

@mayjay the timing of the events, IMO, is no coincidence. Soofi is probably involved somehow.

@ParisHawk dude, it's the same thing from before. I was wondering about any NEW information that includes concrete evidence.

@KUSTEVE somebody is really trying to derail these players and the team. That's the problem with the players being out and about - it is easy to be accused.

Are there any third party witnesses that can verify this? If not, this is nothing.

Is this related to the alleged vandalism a few weeks back?

@DanR you thought Calhoun was irritating? Man I never thought that. I mean, he did win three titles in twelve years.

@jaybate-1.0 I dont know about his shooting - he shot well last game so its hard to say how his hand feels. We'll just have to wait and see.

He did pay KU a compliment the other day. He said that he was watching some of our games and thought they were a really good team.

Are doing the game in Austin on Saturday. I was kind of surprised that ESPN would have them do it. This should be interesting.

@HighEliteMajor the problem is people tend to be super critical of others and think that they themselves are some kind of picture perfect example of moral living. In short, too many are self righteous when the reality is we are all imperfect and we shouldn't look down so much at others. I say this thread should end here to avoid looking like the "uncivilized" message boards of opposing teams that are always the subject of our constant disapproval.

@drgnslayr I'm not sure it is related to the current generation necessarily, but I think it can be effective. We all know Arccidiacono's leadership role, but according to people who know Villanova basketball a lot better than I do, Ochefu was very instrumental in the locker room. In my opinion, having two strong players on the team is a good thing in case one has an off game.

@BShark yes. As evidenced by the last two minutes, this team is capable of that kind of play but they just dont do it often

@DCHawker the odd thing is that they are capable of it.

@cragarhawk they just don't want to expend much energy it seems. We have seen them when they know they need a stop, so it is within their ability to play lockdown D.

@Hawk8086 I don't know about "work in progress". Effort seems to be the main thing.

@DCHawker what would help is putting Coleby at the five and let Carlton be the stretch four. Know idea why coach doesn't do that.
