@stoptheflop guys who think they're in the super bowl.

Imagine how good this team will be once Devonte and Svi's shots start falling again. Bragg needs to go after the ball and be aggressive. He also needs to knock down those jumpers.

@stoptheflop well, the problem is shot making. This team has struggled the last three weeks or so shooting the ball. Can't have runs and quick starts without the ball going in the hoop.

Like the energy but still very frustrated by the overhelping - given up three threes because of it. Isnt a three worth more than a two?

Forgot to bring this up earlier but I thought Ian and Bill did a terrific job calling the game. Both have so much passion and exuberance for the game and they dont make negative comments or show favortism to a particular team, ala Fran. Dan and Jay are also really good along with Gus Johnson, Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller. Wish we could have these guys every game but it is what it is.

Glad he's ok - could have been much worse.

Don't know why people hate on Lunardi - he has been pretty accurate over the years and besides, who 100% predicts exactly how the committee will seed teams and where they will play? I'm not aware of anyone. Just enjoy the process and the games.

@BShark I hear you man. We are Marsha's super bowl and they would be way, way up for that game. The thing about it is, the 2015 team was arguably the weakest during Selfs tenure and had nine losses. They were punked big time the year before by Texas and were punked again by a much tougher WSU team. While I think we could definitely lose that game if we have a rough shooting day, this team isn't going to get punked. Frank and Landen are seniors now, Devonte and Svi are upperclassmen and JJ is a fierce competitor, so I don't think they would own us like last time.

Just read on KUSports that Self didn't know anything was wrong until he saw it wrapped at the Special Olympics camp. Devonte said it was swollen. Thoughts?

@Crimsonorblue22 do we know the prognosis?

I think there are about seven true contenders - KU, UNC, Oregon, Nova, Arizona and UCLA. I would be fine if we got Louisville as our 2 because we have plenty of experience against extreme length. One of these games, you'd have to think that our guys are going to put together a good all around game and not just squeak by. We haven't had one all season so you know its coming soon.

@BeddieKU23 agreed except for North Carolina. I think they and UCLA have the most potential overall. Not sold on FSU or Arizona yet.

@joeloveshawks I agree. I kind of have a feeling the committee will want to put Marsha in our region again. Thoughts anyone?

@Crimsonorblue22 honestly, I didnt. Bill Self has a strong case of chronic almamateritis, so a W there is not expected. It would be nice, but I don't see it.

@BShark I disagree completely with Coleby not getting more minutes but that's Selfs decision and not mine

@Lulufulu the committee had them as the fourth number one and Villanova and KU haven't lost since then. They will be a one seed but not overall number one.

@cragarhawk we would have to win out regular season and win the conference tournament to be overall number one. Possible but I don't think that happens

Unsurprisingly, Medcalf just wrote an article basically claiming that KU is a one man team with Mason - even said they would be a bubble team without him. I don't even know why I bother to read his stuff. Plain ridiculous

@KUSTEVE actually, Trier and Cartwright were both out that game

I say rest Frank on Wednesday. No need getting additional minutes with selection sunday being a few weeks away.

@Blown smart play and ball movement negates length. I think people overestimate the effect of length on a smart well coached team. Remember Nova last year? Were they a long team?

13 is, for all practical purposes, locked up. The toughest game by far is at Stoolwater. Almamateritis has always plagued Bill there and its time to get a W there - the last time was 2013.

Baylor homers blaming the refs as usual LOL. Marsha homers are also saying the zebras help KU. Biggest crybabies in history

And Rece and Jay just agreed that Frank is the NPOY.

Our guys are one tough bunch. I think I'm going to celebrate with my post game milkshake :)

Well guys, we let Baylor back in it with stupid plays. They're going down, unfortunately. This was a winnable game too.

I like Svi, but he is not having a good game and now we are down two.
