They've hit some tough shots and there's not much we can do about that.
We had 8 turnovers and played generally soft on defense though. We can fix that.
Also we just need to run pick-and-rolls with KJ until KState shows they can stop it at all.

We have a good coach and a good point guard. Look at the last shot KU got. Look at the last shot that Iowa St got. Look how we switched defensively. It would have been lucky if Grill's shot went in.
UConn would be a lot better if they weren't coached by Dan Hurley

Tennessee shot 12-27 from 3 against us. Harris fouled out in less than 20 minutes of play on questionable calls (and one obviously bad charge call) in a very physical game. Pettiford left early with injury and only played 3 minutes. A lot of things went wrong for us that game.
Today Tennessee shot 3-20 from 3, but they also missed like 5 or 6 completely wide open lay-ups. Like not contested lay-ups at all. I've never seen anything like that before, it was bizarre. Tennessee should have won that game.

Kentucky is playing better defense and Tennessee's offense looks very bad.
Alabama is more balanced. 16th in offense and 10th in defense per KenPom. Tennessee is 1st in defense and 31st in offense. And their defense is sort of dependent on how the officials are calling the game. They play very physical defense.

I am and I am hoping Tennessee kills them today. For all-time wins purposes and also because we lost to Tennessee earlier in the season.
