Just because he flails doesn't mean it's a foul.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:36 PM

@BeddieKU23 He will never get a foul call today.

UPS

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:34 PM

Doke needs some Ty-Webb Caddyshack therapy. Be the ball, Udoka.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:32 PM

Braun reminds me more of my username than Brady or Reed.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:31 PM

Marcus

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:28 PM

Imagine being an opposing big and Doke goes to the bench and you finally get a chance against KU's smaller big, who is Dave McCormack. Rough.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:25 PM

@approxinfinity He's down after the first 15 seconds or first kidney-punch. Whichever comes first.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:23 PM

Not a good entry-pass.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:21 PM

I think it'll be really good for Thompson to play with Marcus next year. Excited about that.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:20 PM

That was all Marcus, though, to get Ochai that look.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:19 PM

Moss can shoot, Dickie.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:17 PM

@Crimsonorblue22 Same. But I live in Colorado so it's pretty normal.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:16 PM

Imagine the 2008 team playing today. They'd be up 40 with all these open 3's.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:14 PM

Can Bryce Thompson, Dajuan Harris, or Tyon Grant Foster shoot 3's?

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:09 PM

Free-throws at a premium.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:07 PM

Stanford big almost doing the splits setting that screen.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:03 PM

@stoptheflop Doke gets swarmed every time he gets a touch and then we clank a wide-open 3-pointer. A good way to get Doke better looks would be to start making shots.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 09:01 PM

Sad Broncos noises

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:53 PM

The game against West Virginia next week is going to be some kind of ugly.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:52 PM

@approxinfinity Yet somehow still on pace to win the game by 20. That's really remarkable.

If we could stop shooting ourselves in the foot all the time we'd be pretty good.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:48 PM

What travel?

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:46 PM

@FarmerJayhawk Jeff Boschee is looking sullen somewhere.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:43 PM

Ochai man. lol

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:42 PM

I think Marcus is my favorite KU player this year. I love Garrett.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:41 PM

@BShark We've been decent. 1-11 is bad especially considering that the looks we've been getting are wide open.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:39 PM

1-11 from 3. Yikes

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:37 PM

Doke wyd

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:33 PM

He's right about the 97 team. I thought the 2002 team was pretty good as well.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:31 PM

We are 10-1 if Marcus plays the whole game. I'm convinced.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:26 PM

We are the Golden State Warriors confirmed.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:25 PM

And mute.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:24 PM

@BeddieKU23 It could be worse. We could be Stanford right now.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:20 PM

The game plan of their offense looking better than our defense isn't going very well so far.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:19 PM

@BeddieKU23 You mean a game with a Big 10 team and West Virginia wasn't beautiful basketball? Shocked.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:17 PM

WVU was 15/25 from the line and still won by 8. Craziness.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:16 PM

I don't think he meant to bank that.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:15 PM

At least we have Marcus today.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:13 PM

@BShark I picture every OSU fan looking like Mantis and it makes me really happy.

Stanford Game Thread • Dec 29, 2019 08:11 PM

Good weekend for tOSU fans.

EMPEROR OF BASKETBALL • Dec 22, 2019 01:11 AM

You guys are ridiculous. The roster is fine. Sometimes we lose games. Kansas ranks 61/353 in 3P% and 2/353 in overall field goal percentage. I support HCBS and I think he's doing a great job.

EMPEROR OF BASKETBALL • Dec 22, 2019 01:05 AM

This one is not on Self. He made the adjustment of going to a 4-1 (maybe he should have done it earlier) and it brought us back into the game. It's not his fault that his players missed a ton of wide-open lay-ups, shot 4-10 from the free-throw line, failed to secure defensive rebounds, and turned the ball over. If we do any of those things we win the game. This one is on the players.

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 07:11 PM

There were so many things we could have done to not lose this game. And that's super frustrating.

But again I would like to point out that the game changed when we went to a 4-1 with Enaruna at the 4. I think we need to start playing this way at the start of games, especially against teams like Nova.

Wishing Garrett a speedy recovery.

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 07:05 PM

Well this is why @BShark and I were afraid.

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 07:04 PM

4-10 from the line, tons of missed lay-ups, stupid turnovers. I can't believe we lost this.

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 07:02 PM

That's the shot we get?

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 06:54 PM

Choked. Missed lay-ups. Missed turnovers. Gotta do better.

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 06:53 PM

Gillespie carried.

Nova Game Thread • Dec 21, 2019 06:50 PM

Dotson come on
