@kjayhawks You can thank Zeke for a majority of this loss-- hasn't hit shit the whole game -- -misses free throw in OT- -well 1/2 , jacking up three without running any clock in most critical situation throwing the ball away in most critical time, Zeke giving up cruicial three and then turning right around throwing the ball away and they hit Another three to take us into double over time.- -both overtimes if we play basic Basketball one - - O- -one we win period

This is 100 % for sure the biggest give away in the History /collapse in our history just a really sad display. - -Can't make free throws- -throw the ball away well deserved loss Period

I haven't heard a good hard ROCK CHALK Chant at the end of a game in the Phog this year.

@wissox Very well could be wrong but --- Doesn't K/State have their students behind the Bench's ? Probably wrong but I as thinking they were.

I am thinking the percentages of the game at about 55/45 % KU and that could be my crimson & blue heart doing the thinking instead of my peanut size brain doing the thinking lol.

I think it's going to be an ugly game , with a lot of fouls. I think it's going to be hard to get into any kind of flow because of whistles, Biggest keys to winning will be rebounding especially keeping Houston off the boards on the offensive end & for us to keep from turning the ball over , giving Houston extra possessions and 100% especially NO live ball turnovers.

One big reason for saying an ugly game is because Houston is # one in the defensive side & KU is # four. One other big thing is you just CAN NOT give Sharp any open looks . There has been a little talk about him being able to play because he messed his ankle up I guess in practice , but chances are he will play You have to try and run him off the three point line or get a really good contested shot at the least. I think he is shooting like 47% from the three - -him and Cryer will kill you off open looks. I think your going to have to switch off on ball screens and not get caught up if you try and not switch off , Cryer has a pretty quick release

Anyways having said that I think I will still go out a little bit , hope we come out play really well, avoid these dam slow starts --and hopefully with us getting going from the tip & home Court- - you know the Phog is going to be really juiced- - I'll go out and say- -KU 66 - & Houston --63.-- -ROCK CHALK

I know guys I just posted on this recently so I apologize here but I can't help it. I'm so stoked about football at KU anymore , can you believe it?- --Football .

What this staff has done for our once laughing stock in America so called program where we were just happy if we could keep it close for a half. Now - -Now- -what Lance and his guys have done is awesome , Our Coach has come in here and shown that he is really invested to OUR football program. He saw changes and I mean major changes that needed to happen , Weight room , And a remodel almost complete tear down of the old shambled way out of date Stadium & facilities and it's coming to life.

Lance came in and I still remember something he said , he told his wife after a game something that struck him and that was he says -- - Look these fans are cheering for us keeping the game close -- not that we won ( We Lost ) - -but he couldn't believe we were cheering cause we had kept it close. - he made up his mind those days were over , we are now a competitive program at least. We can actually look forward to going to the game and knowing we can play with these teams - -be competitive and actually win many of these games .

Not only has Lance gotten upgrades done with the Stadium and other pieces BUT he and the Staff has worked their tails off and it's showing we have gradually gotten better talent, better athletes , higher ranked players from all over the Country. Kids that ten years ago even eight years ago wouldn't even allow us to talk to them - - couldn't come close to get in their doors,- -Now ?- - - Now- - -Now not only are these higher ranked kids not only listening to Coach's talks- - Some of these higher rated more talented kids are committing/transferring here to us.

Oh and you don't think the things that are going on here haven't been noticed by others ? - Think again my friends-- Our little brothers down the interstate at the Petting Zoo are HOT- -dis belief- - -frustration , whatever or however you want to put it , it's ok. Bottom line is the keepers of that petting zoo in Manflattin are NOT HAPPY -- not happy at all. Why ? -- because they know their rein of their winning ways against us are coming to an end and coming soon.

Further proof of our turnaround is getting key commits. Our class of 2026 has a very good chance of being insane.-- Right now a of this point depending where you look we have either the 17 the ranked class in the nation. Or in the other ranking is the 21st best in the Nation for 2026 Another very key point is Lance & staff has finally been able to recruit and get talented kids right here in our own back yard from Kansas.- -No more of Iowa St and K/State just swooping up all the talented kids. The Staff has been able to get back and make that connect with Kansas High School coach's and kids , been a long time from them just being ignored by KU.

As of today w have gotten huge commits from the following Kansas Recruits and they are good : -We have gotten the either # 1 - or # 2 depending which report you look at J J Dunnigan , Dunnigan is a 3 * CB -- We have got the # 4-- -Hunter Higgins a 4 * Edge- - -We got the # 9 player-- -Jayden Mason a 3 * QB--- -Then we got Nate Sims a speedy WR - he is ranked in the top 10 but I don't have it , Think he # 7 - -on top of these guys we are in really good shape with these other kids from Kansas ranked in the top 10

They are : - -Either the # 1 or # 2 rated player Ian Premer you can just flip him and JJ either way good possibility of having the # 1 & # 2 rated both -most have him as the # 1 ranked TE in Kansas- - - then we have # 5 rated Joshua Galbreath r LB another 3 * - -then there is the # 8 ranked player a Wr/Ath --Tyren Parker a 3 *- -then the last one we got the # 10 rated player Kayden Synder another 3 * on the verge of a 4 * player OT.- -If we land these four which again we are in really good shape , that would give us SEVEN of the top TEN players from the State of ?Kansas-- Lance and Staff are COOKING.

K/State'sfans response to all of this si either : - -they backed of these players, they wasn't as good as people think or they really didn't want them- -or there is questions arehacing the Parents around the entire Season kinda shaddy things not good people they say. They say this after they find out things aren't looking good for them.- -- I'n Stoked friends-- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I think Flory will be back for one more year , if more then anything to develop a little more offensively then anything. Think he needs to try and add some more weight, maybe doesn't need to be a lot where it will effect his mobility or anything like that , but if he goes pro right now and he have to try and match up with some of those bruisers in the NBA right now - -could be bad.

Plus this isn't meant to be a knock on Flory but I just don't think if he should happen to leave after this year he will be drafted as high- - - right now gonna be spot minutes if that.- - -Wait another year , continue to develop , add a little muscle/weight I think his Draft status be higher. I think for sur if he were to come back , then after next year he has a solid year, improve more yet he is gone. I think he is a two year guy and gone. - - - -Flory is going to be special , I hear a lot of analyst talk about how good he is and KU better enjoy him while they got him cause he is going to make a lot of money, He still is raw, but you can see it, getting better game by game , love the kid he HAS to see the floor as much as possible

@approxinfinity Got to say have heard many many times that it's not important who starts the game - -you need to look out see who is on the floor at crunch time when the game is on the line.

A lot of times you will have situational substitutions sub one player in when your on the offensive end , and then switch when your on defensive end- -I go with the it doesn't matter who starts- -Hell you go have Pee- Wee & the gang on the floor to start the game doesn't matter- -it's who the Coach feels more confident/better that's on the floor at the end of the game

@drgnslayr Love KJ to death, he gives you 125 % but he is just limited , and I think unfortunately we all know that when KJ comes back he will be right back in there and playing 30 minutes - Coach has just got to get Flory more minutes- -so talented, active, can guard in open space legit rim protector, If KJ really wants to help the School he loves so much , he wouldn't have any problem coming off the bench and filling in for Flory & Hunter -- not gonna happen but it should

I don't think to many actually thought our defense would be as it is. A lot of talk in the beginning of the Season that our defense would be an issue- -Now as it actually turns out, defense pretty salty. # 4 ranked defense they are saying, don't ask me where they are saying just from I guess others have seen- -thinking Kenpom- -that's not to bad

Mercy sure was nice to see some life with this team last night. Sure was really nice to see contribution from a lot of different players for a change , not just Dickinson & Mayo

A couple of things that I'm sure others are thinking about # one did we see the emergence of AJ last night ?- -Give the guy major props , looked a lot better, his best showing of the Season by far , the question now becomes can he- -will he roll it back ? If we can get Aj to continue to play this way he just brings a whole new dimension to this team - -He makes us a whole different team and raises our level a lot more. We saw some things last night from him that had been buried , three steals - -some rebounds- -and just more locked into the game period. - I guess we will find out Saturday when Houston comes in -- they bring a whole different level , my gut says I think AJ will show that's for sure. Can't be 100 % sure but I think he might of found that elusive light switch and it's now come on.

The second thing is and I think it's just as big as AJ and his on going deal, I think this is just as big and that is- -How do you keep Flory from being a starter along with Hunter ? -We now for sure have a true Dilemma with KJ and the four.-- I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on this and was watching the KU pod cast- -ain't no seats this morning and the thing is - -We all love KJ , the guy just gives 100 all the time, but Flory just brings some things that can't be ignored,

Like was said Flory is more athletic , fluid he adds a legit rim protector and even raw Flory on the offensive end can get two three rebounds - -keeping the ball alive on almost evert trip down even though there is still some spacing issues when he is on, they think they might of figured some things out and that is, like when Hunters man goes out on the perimeter your saw some and probably will more Flory picks the guy out top up and Hunter stays in the lane down deep - -Flory is good enough to be able to defend outside , Hunter doesn't get exposed as much. - -Flory is helping Hunters game - -Flory is actually getting to the point where he can bring more offensively to the game for KU then KJ.-- KJ is basically limited to around to that little five foot floater

I'm afraid as much as I like Coach and again others saying the same thing I'm afraid when KJ comes back we will be going right back to the same rotation KJ be playing his 30 minutes. - - -Again KJ is great, gives you everything but just limited --just can't see how you keep Flory out and getting more minutes.

They were talking and saying they think you roll with Harris - - Mayo - - -Flory - - Dickinson and then just roll with whoever, insert AJ into that last spot or like they said whoever is on that night go with them- - mercy what we gonna do. All I know is if this is the true AJ then - -we got's to go - -roll with him thats it - -whole different level

Hell we shot almost 56 % from the field - - 80 % from the line - & out rebounded them by 5 - - -Flory had 10 points -- - 10 rebounds - -- 4 blocks- - & a steal

Big win on the road for the guys tonight -- hanging tough
