@RockChalkinTexas Totally agree - that ESPN reseed was clickbait, and rather stinky bait too. Nice to finally get a little recognition from a media outlet, and the 3 seed seems fair to me.
Is it Friday yet???

Nice balance of youth and experience.
Consistenly finds new ways to win.
Unselfish chemistry between kids that grew up so fast in the last couple months.
Peaking at the right time.
Uber conditioned.
This may not be the prettiest team at the Dance, but just might be the last one on the floor.
I know a lot of people are going to look at the way Clemson beat Auburn and think that game beats KU.
Betting on KU losing hasn’t been a good strategy so far, but will likely continue until we cut down the nets.

I'm not sure this team deserves being talked about like those other teams because they haven't proven to be on their level.
Huh, I could have swore we were a number 1 seed going to the sweet 16...
Malik on being asked if “Big 12 Malik” was back with this 28 point explosion - Graham chimes in off camera “oh yea”
Reporter asking Malik if he had any doubts that after his great feed to Svi if he was going to make it “none, I was at half court before the ball the went in”.
Svi was pretty happy about that shot, you don’t see him do the shoot the arrow afterwards very often, that was fun to watch.
Leading and controlling most of the game, this one was much easier to watch than the first game.
Next...
They sure played yesterday like they may have had heard the Seeya Hall’s trash talk, perhaps this could work as the next chip for us.
Oh and btw... Hope all of you who bet against our guys enjoy another hole in your bracket.
Dayum, we rock!
Looks like OT, but Bamba fouled out
Looks like WV is holding against Murray St - both literally on almost every possession and being up 14 with under 4 minutes left
I liked the comment under the story.. "dude you average 2 points a game, you should leave the trash talk to real players"
Some random thoughts...
We were jittery yesterday - shouldn't be the case Saturday.
When Graham warms up, he's got moves and shots that affect everyone on the court - uplifting to the good guys, demoralizing for opponents when those crazy long threes start dropping.
Seeya Hall played good yesterday - maybe they're due for a cold shooting day.
I was surprised by just how incredibly relieved I was when we took over yesterday - we would have been the laughingstock of Div 1 for years to come had we choked. But we kept that streak of unbeaten 1s going.
Vegas says has the #1 seed winning by 4.5 in this game - seems reasonable, they tend to be pretty good at that kind of thing.
Like HEM says above, if you predict a loss are you crazy? No, just don't expect too much love from all here at this fan website - realism is good but sometimes hope is a better choice.
To those that chose the SH to beat the good guys - hope you enjoy a nice big hole in your bracket.
“But you know you're going to play the 1 seed, and you know it's going to be a challenge because the 1 seed is the 1 seed for a reason, and Kansas is Kansas because they're a phenomenal program with great players.” - Seton Hall coach
We're a number 1 seed for a reason. Vegas doesn't like to lose and guess what... we beat the spread today. We're favored by 4.5 against Seeya Hall. Hope all of you who bet against our guys enjoy another hole in your bracket.
We got the jitters out of the way. This game will be similar to many we've had this year. We'll stink up the floor sometime in the first half. Then go on a run in the second (or maybe lose a big lead) and yet somehow win. Everybody will complain about how ugly it was, but we leave Wichita a winner.
@DanR Ivy League $70k a year, prolly not too many farmers
@Crimsonorblue22 yep they ran with the big dogs... for a while.
Good guys win. Seth G - bite my Jayhawk ass
20 pts ahh
Meotch!!
Gawd I thought NewMan was gonna jack another crappy 3
DG leading us to up by 13 again, knew he wouldn't let lose today. But admit to being really nervous earlier.
Turnin on the jets
Boom goes the long lob!!
Boom goes the long DG 3!!
Weird to have us be the far superior team on FTs in the tourney
@HawkChamp lol, well maybe soon?
Need to turn on the jets here and put this one away
Tired legs for them on 3s but not Vic!
Poor FTs will kill ya, as we know
Quit fouling
Yea, where's the 20pt NewMan we saw in the b12 tourney?
13 point lead, covering the line, breathing easier
Garret makes up for crappy pass
Graham with 21 already
22-5 run at the end of half, let's continue that please
Ha! Stupid 3 pt foul
Graham!!!!!
And a dunk!
Jeez about time we got the lead back
Yep. I see one of two scenarios. One is we get on a run first and Quakes never recover. The other, probably more likely, is both team feel each other out, first 10 or maybe even first half is relatively even. Then in the second half, HOF coach makes a few adjustments, and we turn on the afterburners leaving charred remains on the floor.
If there was ever a Must Win this season, not being the team to give up the 0-132 streak, this is that game. DG has been here before and no way he allows a loss today.
Dang, we better not have an emergency or this is going to be a short tourney run.
@KUSTEVE amen, hell yea, well-said, and agree 100%!
Not only did we kick B12 tourney @ss, look fresh, and have good players eager to come off the bench, as was noted on another thread we got a big ol honkin chip on our shoulder. How many punkass pundits, plus a good chunk of board rats too, don't have our #1 seed playing in the FF.
Screw that, we're going to win and win and win some more this year.
Someone must have thought we had a chance... we're not a 1 seed because we suck!
I was pleasantly surprised at our early draws too. Nice for some other #1 seed besides us to get screwed for a change.
It's turning into a pretty decent March so far.
“I told our guys, the thing about it is, from an academic standpoint, thank God we're not competing against them in all those areas,” joked KU coach Bill Self on Sunday night.
But competing on the court should just be a teeny tiny bit different.
I ain't quakin in my boots about playin these guys.
they only beat Harvard (who they lost to by 10 last month) by three to win their tourney and get their ticket punched to the Dance
our guys have shown they will not give up important streaks, so a 16 beating a 1 (who is also playing its best ball of the season) just aint gonna happen
our NPOY candidate is not going to allow them their first tourney win in 24 years
their Mormon 7'3" fresh center is one of the only Division I athletes that hasn’t played their sport competitively for the last two years. He admits that after playing only a few games of pickup ball against French kids he called “not great,” his feel for the game is rusty. Coming off his great work against Konate the beast, what do you think Silvio (and Meotch) are going to do to this kid?
This going to be, as it rightly should and how Vegas predicts, a dunkfest filled spanking.
Fran - time is gonna run out - then Svi dunks!
Champions again! We rock!
@BShark wow, that is cool
Lookin like More hardware for the good guys, I like it
DeShoota lookin strong under the basket
Double dayum! We look good
