And that Q1 win is over bubble team Oklahoma. WSU doesn't deserve an at large bid this season.

So glad I got to see this team 3 times this year. Hopefully they come to Houston so I can see them 5 times this season!

Yep, TCU made some trash shots and contested shots. Congratulate them on the half and dare them to do it again.

Most of these 3's are contested too, not much you can do at that point.

If you have a smart TV, you need to go download the ESPN+ app on the TV. After it's downloaded, then you just enter you account info to log in and you should be good to go.

Texas is now in 3rd place in the B12.

WVU trying to avoid their 6th loss in their last 7 games in Ames. WVU up 2 with 20 seconds left.

Texas just banked a 3 in with 0.4 left after Doolittle missed a pair of FT's with OU up 2 that would've iced the game.

UT is the second hottest team in the B12 now winning their 5th straight with the last 3 (including tonight) against tournament teams.

KU women back to normal by getting stomped by ISU by 19 and scoring a whopping 42 points for the game tonight.

Of course Doke wants to play. This is where Self needs to look at the risk/reward of the situation. KU is the favorites to win the national championship right now. KU will not win that title without a healthy Doke. Start Doke tomorrow and pull him at the first dead ball so he can get his recognition, then sit Doke until he's as healthy as can be. If that means sitting him until the NCAA Tournament, then sit him until the NCAA Tournament. Doke's health for the NCAA Tournament run is far more important than him proving his toughness because we know how tough he is.

You are right. But I still expect to see a lot more out of a guy with his athleticism and a year to learn Selfball. Our freshmen looked better from the very beginning.

He looked better just walking into the program two years ago.

Guys get redshirted to improve their game. He hasn't improved and it can be argued that he regressed.

Silvio was running scout team last season, not playing Selfball so he wasn't running KU sets.

My only explanation is he took the year off. That would explain going backwards and losing timing and speed of the game.

At his age and development level, he should have done nothing but climb in his year off. We would have settled for the Silvio we got the first season after January.

Silvio barely played his freshman year. He only played 175 minutes his freshman year. He did not play enough that year for his flaws to be exposed. Silvio only had something like two good games that year. His issues this year were a lack of experience, plain and simple.

@nuleafjhawk I always go to the games here in Austin and have set with the UT family a few times. In the few times Texas has been really good and the game has been competitive the atmosphere in Erwin was good for like 2 minute bursts and it's so clear how little the crowd understands basketball.

That to me is what really sets KU apart. Fans know when to cheer the loudest, when to cheer because the team needs a lift vs. when to just be as loud as possible to disrupt the opposing team, and the constant engagement from the crowd is just unrelenting. I miss that place so much!

You need to make the trip up to Waco for a game. Fans are much more knowledgeable because of their women's team being so dominant for so long now

There's some legendary BBQ in KC. If you have the time, and you like that kind of thing, hit any one of the top 5 spots in KC and you can't go wrong.

When you get to campus, I would second @ku4bob and @BShark -- the Natural History Museum has some great exhibits (and family ties for me). It's in Dyche Hall which is next door to the Union where, in the basement, you can go bowling at the Jay Bowl... And there's the Spencer Art Museum below the Union and across the street.

All of that is pretty close to each other on one side of campus. The Fieldhouse, and the DeBruce Center (which is attached) is across campus.

I can't think of many other things that are set up as attractions for visitors... Some might say The Wheel is must see.. I assume it's still there. Not sure about many other bars, like the Hawk... Those are/were just off campus..

I'm sure there are some other hidden gems on campus, but I think I took them for granted and have forgotten.

Jay Bowl is not there anymore, got replaced about 5 years ago by a events space and study area.

@BigBad Other places to go check would obviously be Mass St. downtown. A bunch of shopping and restaurants. Your kid would probably love Sylas and Maddie's (ice cream shop) and Mass St. Soda down on the south end of downtown.

@tundrahok It probably is, referring to a young black man as boy can have racist connotations in certain situations. Obviously not in this case as it was two black kids referring to each other, but ESPN being the overly PC entity they are probably decided to change for the sake of being politically correct.

Schneider should still be fired after this year. The women are still in last place despite winning 3 of 4.

I enjoyed that series of articles. Tait had the hardest case to make, although Garrett certainly deserves to be in the discussion. Dok has been on a tear lately, but Dotson has been most consistently excellent. I really think we'll have to see how the postseason plays out.

I think today showed Dotson is the best player, Doke is the most valuable, and Garrett is the best defender. No way is this a 4 point game with a healthy Doke the entire game today.

Those are student sears and they just didn’t show up. Weird year.

I figured it was the student section, just didn't know why they were empty. I wouldn't have expected the student section to be half empty against KU since KSU's school motto is "F--- KU!" and usually take every chance to express their motto.

Could the B12 be playing their way into being a 6 bid league now with the run Texas is on. Beating WVU and Tech in the same week is looking pretty good and they could end up as high as the 3 seed in the B12 tournament.

@Marco Houston is the South, Indy Midwest. I am pulling for Indy as it opens up the possibility of travelling to a game there for me and lots of Chicago alums/fans.

To me really not worth input seeing as how I'm not going to be able to go wherever it is. However they were talking about this on our sports program today and it was brought out might be better in Houston for the reason of easy access with flights , multiple , multiple flights going in there as where Indy there is like 2 they said. - However they did turn around and say people could always fly into Chicago and really not that bad a drive from Chicago to Indy soo I don't know lol

Indy is about an 8 hour drive from Lawrence and Houston about an 11-12 hour drive from Houston. I don't know about the proximity of the airport in Indy to their arena, but in Houston, unless you're flying Southwest into the smaller airport, it's not convenient at all to get from our big airport to downtown where Toyota Center is.

Selfishly, I'd rather have KU in Houston so I could go see them in S16 and E8 games, but with Baylor being a pretty strong lock for a 1 seed as well, there's no way in hell KU gets the 1 seed in Houston. KU is going to be the 1 seed in Indy, Baylor in Houston, and Gonzaga in LA, and whoever gets the 4th 1 seed will be in New York.

@jayballer73 Simple, they have potentially one win over an at large team and that's over fellow bubble team Oklahoma.
