@Crimsonorblue22 I don't think they want too. Sounds like he did it doing something he shouldn't of been doing. Heard a radio interview this morning with a KSU guy who said he has heard a ton of different stories, but didn't feel comfortable putting anything out there. Sounds like it has been pretty tight lipped about the situation.

Definitely going after different caliber of players than past regimes. Obviously the proof is in the pudding they say. So let's see if Les and staff can do more than just offer big names. Have to be able to land some as well.

There is also a influx of local talent this year in KC and the metro area. Hopefully we can keep those kids in state or coming to KU as well.

I am super excited to see what Les can do as far as a class is concerned with a full year and 20 plus scholarships to give out. Should be able to reel in a top 50 class.

I saw where Wade is a game time decision tonight. I think that is probably a smoke screen. There is no reason for him to play tonight. I am actually surprised he even traveled with the team.

@BeddieKU23 I haven't seen anything mentioned on Stokes. I assume he is a go tonight. It is also sounding more and more likely that Cartier will be back sooner than later.

@BeddieKU23 Saw this as well. If we can play decent ball down the stretch we might be able to sneak onto the 2 line and take Spart'y's two seed. That might guarantee a spot in the KC regional.

I think KSU schedule is actually pretty weak. I think they lose in Lawrence, and then the rest of the games they should be able to win. I think they will be favored in all of them except maybe @TCU and they just lost at home to OU. Not sure where else they will lose another game, but that’s why they play them.

At Tech is going to be a monster for a game for KU. No reason to think they are going to win that game. Tech seems to be playing a little better and KU still struggles on the road.

@jayballer73 Yea, UK is legit. They are just big and physical and when they get guys knocking down shots it’s lights out. They are going to be able to compete with anyone because they will not be intimidated and back down from any team.

Which there is no doubt he heard from Self. When mentioning Vick you could tell it was not a leave of absence for a family matter and or Vick’s decision. Which most people pretty much knew when this news came out.

I know some people get all bent out of shape about Fran for some reason, but he is really tight with Self and has connections inside the staff. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if this is what he is hearing right now about Ochai, Q, and Dotson.

I think Q should play 10 - 15 minutes a game unless he catches fire or something. He just didn’t figure it out, and time is up. His shot is not even close. I said two games ago during a game chat that anything he gives the team from then on would be a bonus and that is still the case.

Imstillmthinkmthey need to win out for a share which isn’t likely, but Self needs to stop dicking around with Q.

At this point KJ is a better option that Q. His shot is getting worse.

I personally think KU thought they had a really good case with Silvio and thought he would only be suspended for part of this season. There is no way they even dreamed a 2 season ban was a possibility.

I was so worried about this trail when it was going on , but I’ve come to the realization that it is what it is. If they want to vacate wins then that is fine. We all know what happened and I think vacations anything is dumb as hell.

However, I do think they are going to get hit with a postseason bam and that is going to effectively kill recruiting even worse than it is right now. One thing is for sure is that KU needs the NCAA to make its ruling and move on from this whatever punishment may be.

I agree. They *shouldnt need him Saturday, but are definitely going to need him for the stretch run.
