Who can play sustained defense to get a lead or fight off a dry spell. A lot of times these rivalry games are a back and forth fight. Our talented experienced guys should carry the others through, especially from a bad start. They won't back down.
Juan will get his props from the Big 12 writers and coaches. He is an elite defender and is magic finding the open guys. I think he will reward us with clutch scoring too.
McDowell is a big guard who excited me with his poise and no fear play.

Hunter seems to understand how to defend and not foul.
Elmarko will be past you going to the basket before you know it. On the 3 or 4 I remember he was looking for a seam on a secondary break or on the offside of a screen. He's got it and he knows it.
Parker had a good game and leads me to hope he will be an asset in a needed role.
