@mayjay get well buddy! My whole team at work seems to have head colds. We had a 2 hour meeting today and by the end nobody could remember the proper names for anything.
@BShark yeah I don't think KJ was horrible yesterday. I'm still willing to give him a chance. Hell, Charlie was bad, but optimism for this new look team is infectious... Maybe, just maybe...
To me this feels so far removed from her time at Kansas that, while unfortunate, is not a black eye for the University.
@Woodrow I think the redundancy of having 4 guards on the court (and really 5, as Dedric operates in many ways like a huge guard) should in theory allow people to remain on the court that are struggling with their shot, and not force the shot. If we just have a couple guys at any given time other than Dedric that are shooting well, we'll be in pretty good shape. Its the same number of shooters as when we had Devonte, Svi, Frank, Jackson, Lucas, and Vick as 6th man in 2016-2017. Generally speaking, 2 to 3 of our guards needed to be shooting well for us to win, with Frank as a constant. With Dedric as a constant, thats 1 or 2 guards that need to shoot well.
So I fully expect one guard's success to spill over into the next's.

It had become apparent that in the old paradigm, we were never going to reach the potential we thought we had before the season.
Blow that all up! We didn't play a great game but we played hard. We shot half their 3pt% and we still won! The guys passed well, disrupted passing lanes, Dedric was loose on O, and OA looked like a vet.

Yeah those 10 steals were fantastic. Thats probably double our season average.
Jaylen Fisher might have sunk some 3's on us with the game in the balance. I like the kid, but his absence certainly helped us.

I love what I'm seeing today. Thats like 4 turnovers forced in transitions that led to run out opportunities! Just imagine what this team could do with the 4-1 if the shooters could spread the floor for Dedric to iso inside.
