You and I and Dershowitz don't know what the rest of the investigation will reveal, and ascribing the weight of what has been revealed thus-far regarding Trump's conduct to what will be revealed at the conclusion of the investigation is just speculation.

@JayHawkFanToo Yeah. I don't get it.. Granted these are mostly losses, but check out the end of lass season for JJ. Was he really bad and the stats don't tell the tale? Does he have an attitude this year? Are the other guys on the team that are ahead of him in the rotation legit better than him? It feels like somethign doesnt add up.

I agree @Kcmatt7 that impeachment will be difficult to sell to his loyalists. I don't see how examining illegal activity and determining whether it is impeachable is being a sore loser.

I guess it depends if you want a reason to impeach or not. And if this was a campaign finance violation it would be a reason.

@BShark Washington times is a spin rag. This accuser wasnt on the table in the first place with the investigation. Who cares? This is feel good mop up duty for people who supported Kavanaugh. Nothing has changed as far as the picture of his character. Justice Stevens, the ABA, and his other detractors have moved on.
My point is that both sides are talking in extremes. Dichotomies are self-perpetuating because of equal and opposite reactions. There needs to be a deliberate return toward the middle from both sides if that's where we want to go. However, I don't think that process can begin until we get rid of the walking, talking extreme in the Oval Office.
How can people be blamed for talking in extremes against Trump when he uses deliberately incendiary language and ideas to stoke the extremism?
@Woodrow your use of the words "absolutely", "pathetic", and "exactly" seem to be in line with the extreme sentiment of the tweet.
I'd be more convinced that these aren't extreme times if everyone stopped talking in extremes.

@DoubleDD the part of changing society that is currently troubling me is that our democracy depends on sort of an organic opinion from it's voters. Think time of our founding fathers and how information disseminated and individuals formed their opinions. Now opinions are fabricated. Consciousness is more collective. Something needs to protect us from being used. Our educational system doesn't teach us to think for ourselves. It needs to.
I fear we are racing toward a nuclear hollocaust and don't quite grasp how fragile and currently flawed everything is. We need to be interconnected. I like predictable interlocked economies and relationships. No loose cannons. It's far better for humanity to be globalist than nationalist (this is more about our trade policies than our immigration, but also immigration). Aren't we all in this together? War between nuclear powers is scary stuff, isn't it?

@DoubleDD it's not a few million. It's a few thousand. If it were a few million we would have to address the conditions in Honduras that led to a few million expatriates going to the US. I don't know. The fact is a lot of our legislation assumes humanity to act a certain way, if it deviates wildly it'll have to be reexamined.

And I think we are all interconnected and that's the nature of the world now so instead of fighting it, we should figure out the best way to operate in a global context. Whats wrong with that?
