So he and Fox are in SacTown together.
There we go!
that highlight reel of Frank Jackson... that game against Kansas... Yeah... A Frank won that game... #BIFM
The Charlotte Hornets select..... FRANK... JACKSON.... (good luck with that)
You're gonna draft this guy from Colorado over Frank? COME ON. Give me a break.
HERE IT IS! THE MOMENT! DO IT!
COME ON SAN ANTONIO! DRAFT FRANK!
Who thinks Frank is going to end up in LA?
@Crimsonorblue22 a couple weren't. Most though.
Where's teh fast forward button?
@Lulufulu no big surprises. Josh to Phoenix at 4. Butler traded to TWolves for Lavine Dunn and Markannen (7th pick)
@BShark thought he was a tough competitor at Duke. Doesn't translate to pros?
@BShark Whats your take on Kennard?
The pagination on here kinda blows. Did you guys know that on desktop you can tap on the number part of the bar (87 out of 88) and type in a post number to hop to? That helps a little with the inability to hop back a page correctly. I also just changed page length to 50 posts instead of 20. I don't know whats best. I'll change it back after the draft.
@BShark wellp you called it.
@Crimsonorblue22 I like it!
Maybe Tyus Jones will get more run?
Well the fact that DWade was deadweight last year and now he's still gettin' dem checks. Yeah, the Bulls need some youth to develop.
@Crimsonorblue22 he was.
They shouldnt have dumped both of their young PGs.
I think the Wolves will regret taht trade.
@Crimsonorblue22 I like Fox too. good kid.
those dunks were sick!
Man. Is it Late Night yet?
:)
JJ will fix his form.
@BeddieKU23 You think? I was pretty impressed with him at Duke.
@BeddieKU23 nah I get it. Tatum has some nasty upside.
well not surprising re: Tatum to Celts. The Celts now have one mildly likeable person in their frontcourt. Hopefully Al Horford and Kelly Olynyk dont give him a career ending head injury (a la TJ Ford) in practice or something.
Leaving themselves thin at PG. I don't get it.
Hmm interesting. TWolves traded LaVine and Dunn and teh 7th pick? So it's all Rubio at PG.
We have a late breaking trade.... Lonzo Ball has been traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for Luc Richard Mbah Moute, Luke Ridnour, Drew Gooden and a lifetime supply of cheese.
They've got some other nice pieces too. If they can stay healthy, I agree.
lol not appealing to the home crowd Silver... How about throwing them a bone with Kristaps or Carmelo or something?
Oh I forgot also because "he's a clone of Jason Kidd" meaning, he happens to look a little like the guy, and somehow that means he's gonna get you triple doubles? Please.
thats an interesting theory by Jaylen -> Celts to draft Isaac.
@jayballer54 The only rationale I can think of to draft over Josh is if you're drafting by need. And in that case, why not pick a better PG than Ball? Ball has neither superior athleticism nor strength and shoots from the hip. It's amazing the double standards some execs have re: what "drafting on potential" means. For most players, it means ruling out players that aren't freak athletes, or aren't tall enough, and then this different meaning for Ball. Oh he's got swag so.... his athleticism doesn't matter? we'll just ignore it? he'll get stronger and more athletic? what the heck is that?
Lol why is the room where the people that vet the picks on the other side of the arena from the stage, so they have to run, out of breath, to give the card to Silver? Guess its not the only way the NBA Draft is ass backwards.
I'd rather have Fox than Ball for sure. Fox has John Wall / Russell Westbrook upside.
That's right Michael Wilbon. Nobody wants to hear Lavar Ball talk.
Here we go! Let's go Frank and JJ.
@Kcmatt7 doesnt seem like enough talent to be competitive. I have a hard time imagining the Lakers being able to build a contender around LeBron immediately. And he's not getting any younger.
Also, I watched some UCLA highlights of Ball again today. I was not impressed. He is neither very athletic, nor is he strong. His shot starts at the hip. If all people are going on is how he was able to win against the crappy PAC... I just don't get it. The Lakers should not waste the 2nd pick on him. They could trade down to the 4 and still get Ball, probably farther.
There are several clues that make it seem like JJ to Boston is inevitable, with or without workout.

@jaybate-1.0 Peters is from Plano TX. Andrew White and Frank Mason are from Chester VA and Petersburg VA, respectively. 16 minutes separate Chester and Petersburg, an area that is typically recruiting "flyover country" when it comes to recruiting VA. It's usually VA Beach or NOVA and thats it. It's quite remarkable that two highly successful D-I ballers with good attitudes playing for premiere programs came out of this area, and it's definitely worth giving recognition to Self and staff for finding them both. And for me, it's particularly exciting because I was living in Chester when both were recruited, I played ball against Andrew White at the Y, and have been in contact with family members and family friends of both.
Andrew White isn't Zach Peters.
@Kcmatt7 Suns were also looking at DeAndre Jordan for Chandler plus a draft pick but balked at giving up a pick.
@HighEliteMajor I was thinking Mason to the Celtics with JJ wouldn't be so bad... I mean if the Celtics want to go longer at Point...
We got hit with a decent rain last night. Went out to dinner at a nice place and the rain soaked through the ceiling tiles of the restaurant, caused one to break in half, fall down, and knock a big suspended lamp down, a foot or two from hitting our waitress as she was making her rounds, then shattered all over the floor.
You guys be safe!
@Kcmatt7 lol. I thought surely you were referring to Uncle Anthony. This seems like destiny.
