Not guarding Harris at all. He will adjust and make them pay at some point. One made three already but he will start figuring out how to attack it.

@Jethro the whole kenpom thing is usually based on stats at the end of the tournament and those numbers always move over a course of 6 straight wins over quality opponents.

Self calling Remy the sixth starter is very high praise. It’s what he called sherron his freshman year. Here’s hoping this whole thing is getting figured out at the exact right time!

@drgnslayr you know it’s clicking when Och starts getting open looks against “the best defense in the country.” When we play with pace we are just so tough to stop.

@drgnslayr I’m hoping we are that psyched up team getting hot from 3 at some point in this tournament. We haven’t had a game like that in a while so we are due.

A little surprised our d numbers didn’t move a little more than that. Eye test definitely felt like the defense was significantly better in the big 12 tournament than we’ve seen all year (minus the Baylor game at Allen).

@rockchalkjayhawk I haven’t been able to give my full attention to the last two games but did I see in the TCU game Remy literally looking around lost as he pedaled back on defense? Like asking the bench and his teammates what he was supposed to do? Or was that something else going on? Planning on rewatching the game from tonight tomorrow to really watch the whole thing. Excited to see him have a good game!

Every team is so beatable this year it could definitely get wild this week.

Wilson and Braun had fewer points than I would have expected. In 32 min Wilson was 4/6 9 pts and only 2 rbs. Braun played 33 min 4/11 for 9 pts. I sure hope these two have monster games against Tech. KU can't count on Lightfoot and Remy to carry the water every game. But I sure enjoyed their games against TCU

I’d be worried about this if Wilson hadn’t also had 5 assists. He was still aggressive and involved.

This was pretty funny.

Feel like these last two games also fit well with what the first weekend could feel like competition wise in the tournament. TCU would be the quality of opponent we are likely to face in a second round game. Tech would be a similar comp to a sweet sixteen/elite 8 type matchup. Let’s hope this team is peaking at the right time and has found another gear for the third season.

Always love a good blowout where you don’t waste good three point shooting!

@jayballer67 Try getting the Texas TCU game on right now to play to test it out.

@jayballer67 The easiest way I have found is to go to "Scores" under NCAAM. You can then see the games that are underway and there should be a "Watch" button next to a game if it's televised. Click that and it should take you through the steps to log in using your cable provider.
