@sfbahawk I've experienced similar issues.. It's hard to describe what's happening-- I can't see a clear pattern, but it has to do with the unread posts (and maybe recent), which I rely on..

@drgnslayr I don't know whether I want him to get that kind of advantage.. I mean, I want to win, but yeeesh.... Everyone knows that Duke gets favorable calls, even some Duke fans. They win games... not so sure about respect. Winning like that has to feel a little slimy, in retrospect.
They don't have an asterisk next to their record on paper, and they get banners hanging in Cameron, but they also get a lot of disdain from a fairly distributed cross-section of the basketball world to offset all the admiration of Coach K.
Self is running the program the right way and representing the university and his athletes the right way. In the long-run, I think this will pay off.

I think folks forget that Oubre stepped into a spot vacated by Wiggins and almost made us forget about what we lost there. The fact that Oubre performed so well in the same system as Wiggins speaks volumes to me.
If he's not a lottery pick, it's a huge mistake.

Well, I just read the comments here and found that you all had the same reaction I had while watching the game.
Even my kids were bewildered and angry that duke won.
Refs were questionable once again. There just isn't enough consistency in the game.. And then there's the obvious no-calls against Duke-- two walks and stepped on the baseline out...
But I look at it this way: Duke will be vilified by yet another school
putting birthdates into my previous post.. answering my own question ;-)

Some changes are necessary. And I hope we don't have to go down any further to go back up. We've been to the Sweet16 3 times in the last 5 years. But we've missed the last 2, so it seems like a drought.
3 in 5 is really good. But we have high standards. It's ok to have high expectations. Louisville has been to the Sweet16 in 4 years in a row. So has Michigan State.

Everyone on this site during the season has followed the team with its incredible comebacks and it's painful letdown losses.
Today was very disappointing, and we fans are going to have to endure a lot of grief from giddy, over-zealous WSU fans for a long long time.
