If he stays at RI heās looking to build a legacy in a tough place to recruit.
If he goes to Pitt it depends on how he plays it - money grab, or embracing a rebuild challenge in the ACC.
If he goes to UConn itās kind of the easy way out. Lesser conference, good money, more job security. Probation is looming so that may be a major deterrent. It also could be a smoke screen for poor performance.
Either move could be a stepping stone to something bigger if done right.

@BeddieKU23 We had between .05-.10" of rain last night. First moisture since mid-October. Nearly a record. My poor boy loves snow and we haven't had snow stick around for more than a day or two in years. So rub it in why don't cha? š

Curry was/is bigger and is the exception not the rule. Iām not rooting against Young, it would be cool to say you beat him back when. I just think his body has a lot of filling out left to do. Young will probably be ok in the NBA as it currently doesnāt allow much contact. Sherron correctly pointed out repeated hard contact wore Young out even at the collegiate level though.
Philly has an amazing point forward and an amazing center, but Fultz is broken. If they had signed Jimmy Butler maybe theyād have something, but itās hard to advance without great guard play. If I were Embiid Iād be planing my exit strategy. Meet up with LeBron in LA? Thatād make the clippers pretty salty. Embiid needs to see what the 76ers are doing to win and go from there. If no significant improvement is made bolt. If it looks like a contender is being built stay, even if it means a little less money to make it happen. Time will tell how the Philly front office plays it.

@wissox The problem is as soon as those guys all mature and hit their stride their contracts will be up. Whoās taking less than a max deal to stay in Philly and keep the team together? If they actually make the playoffs and make some noise that would help immensely.

I donāt know about anyone elseās bracket, but mine is sorry. Started really good in the first round, fell apart in the round of 32. Itās gonna get worse too.
The line is about getting bets right, not the score. Although the odds makers are very good at their job and usually do get the spread pretty close, thatās not the goal. Vegas needs balanced betting to self-insure. It doesnāt matter who wins, if the betting is balanced Vegas wins. So the line is more about the psychology of the populace than what the actual score will be.

Makes me happy. Follow my flawed logic. KU beat aTm whoās taking UNC to the woodshed currently. UNC is a team that doesnāt pass my eye test the little bit Iāve seen them play. UNC is also a team that just beat a Dook team that is playing the best ball of its season. ergo KU should beat Duke if they should be so fortunate to play them.
The team was way better with Dok in. Hope heās available 30 minutes per game going forward.

KU plays well in Omaha. When they are in San Antionio I will make the trip. Come Hell or high water, I wonāt miss out on another national championship game if itās within 12 hours driving distance.
@jaybate-1.0 The teams KU has played in the tournament are not as athletic as the teams that give KU fits. The scouting reports arenāt as good as the in conference scouting reports. The competition picks up each round, so we shall see if the shooting is in an up cycle, a down cycle, or the product of the opponent. But I for damn sure am not looking for KU to have an off shooting night due to the lunar cycle.

@mayjay Iāve only watched one Dook game (vs UNC) and it left me feeling ok about playing them. Bagley is nice, but our set of guards is nicer.
@bskeet Watching Michigan play Houston last night gave me flashbacks. Thankfully it was only my bracket taking a hit and not my team!

@approxinfinity I was wondering the same about KU/Duke. If seeds hold true: KU has to play Clemson and then Dook. One hard game, one normal game. Dook has to play MSU to get to KU. Two hard games. How does Puke have the better odds to come out of the bracket? Even if they are the supposed best team in the bracket they have to perform at a high level longer to advance.
Oh well KU plays better with a chip.
