Pretty sure it’s okay to hate individuals if that’s how you want to be - I don’t love everyone. I live in a town of 600 people probably half are Asians. I personally don’t care for them, they are very arrogant to say the least some are Buddhist some not. Asians are extremely racist themselves by that definition. I’m not saying I hate them and wish them harm. Asians typically just aren’t nice people to deal with on many fronts, I grew up dozens of them and lived out here about 28 of 35 years.
not in todays world IMO. Im just not a fan of the way Asians treat their women, children and people not of their kind. I get along fine with several Asians they just ain’t my cup tea. Judging people for chewing gum smh but I suppose thats my fault. If that makes me a bad person to you I’m perfectly fine with that, I bet there are some people that you don’t get along with and by your words that’s on you. Apparently we are responsible for others actions in this age.
Honestly this is the single most messed up conversation I’ve had in a long time. The last time someone told me an entire group of people were no good was in aggievielle, thankfully I shared nothing in common with that racist piece of trash other than skin color.

@kjayhawks there are many different types of Mennonites. German Mennonites drink, swear, smoke. Holderman Mennonites as a rule don’t. There aren’t that many of them.

I think there is a time and a place for swear words, but if you can’t think of more creative ways to articulate your point you’re either being lazy or obtuse regardless of title. ie- I love George Carlin, he was an intelligent man. However, I think he was lazy in his writing from time to time due to over reliance on shock value from swear words.

@Jethro fwiw there should be a free lux meter app (measures light) for your phone that can help you make lighting decisions. I recently purchased a par meter (photosynthetic active radiation) for my reef tank and quickly realized a horrible mistake I had unwittingly made. Should’ve bought the meter sooner and saved a few thousand dollars worth of home grown corals (some I had had for over a decade). 😢

@Jethro I work for mostly holderman Mennonites. They never “swear” but all people swear. It’s an emotional release. They don’t say what we consider swear words (fuck, shit, fart knuckle, or whatever) but they use substitute words - things are terrible bad, or whatever exclamation they use at the moment. It’s just a healthy release to vocalize your displeasure and move on.
If you listened to the Carlin clip - I agree it identifies the quality of your character immediately lol. Over use of swear words is boring, uncreative, and makes you sounds ignorant, immature, quiet frankly dumb.

@cragarhawk TCU’s enrollment is so small it doesn’t really matter what they do. They lack fans and always will be the red headed step child school in Texas.
I guess level of play isn’t as important as prestige and that’s a decades long process that also requires a big alumni/fan base.
I’m worried what the Big12 is doing is like adding the KC Roos to the SEC so they can crack into the KC market.
@cragarhawk Here’s my concern about those markets - Houston/Texas market is almost all Texas and TexasAM. The other Texas teams don’t carry nearly as much weight. Utah - might be a good pickup religious schools usually have fanatical followers. Cincinnati- wrong Ohio team. Florida directional school - definitely the wrong Florida School won’t draw eyes like Florida, FSU, or Miami.
It can’t just be about markets or you’ll lose your support. For example I don’t watch whatever conference WSU plays in because the teams suck, but it’s in the Kansas market.
Yormark needs to be careful not to alienate fans by creating a scrap work conference with few current rivalries. I’m not sure what he should do, but I am not a fan of these lower sports class schools joining the conference. Houston, BYU, UCF, Cinnci, TCU - looks like a lower tier conference than we used to have. I guess you’ve got to find willing members to join and the Big12 is a distant 3rd from the Big10 and SEC. Really glad to not be in the Pac12 shoes, which is where the Big12 was heading a few years ago.
