Man what a game last night huh? Well after being able to sit back and think on things about the game last night my thoughts are this:
I really wasn't wanting to but I did - I trolled the UK boards, already knowing what they were going to say BUT all I can say is never fails losers always make up excuses why they lost other then the real reason. - -losers make excuses and winners just win. The question was ask - -Is KU that good? - And of course that was met with a resounding no - -Saying if we were to meet in March they will destroy us. - -Anyways enough of that crap.
I thought Damn ugly game - - -ugly, ugly game Then when you look at it a little more , ya it was ugly BUT think about this - how many times will we have a game like this Once? - we did last year -in the NCAA'S/Oregon - -maybe we got it out of the way for this year.
I mean think about it when we get out shot from the field 41.8 % to 35.3 % - -shot worse from the free throw line 66.7 % to 56.3 % - - we shoot 8-28 from the 3 pt line for 28.6 %. - -& Devonte is 3-14 from the filed - -1-6 from 3 - - - Newman 4-14 from the field- - -2-6 from 3 - - -SVI 3-10 from the 3 - - Vick 4-13 from the field - & 1-4 from the 3 - - - We have 10 shots blocked -Yet we still find a way to gut it out and win the game. - We are not going to have many games like this.
One question I do have is - - Why does our Big boy only get 5 shots for the entire game? - - 5-5 - -8 rebounds. - -Kentucky had no answer for him, nobody could check him - -feed the Beast. - -He needs more then 5 shot attempts in a game. - -Did really great only the 3 fouls in 34 minutes - really proud of his game last night. Well I mentioned earlier that Gurley had talked about Self and Calipari being man to man coaches but that Ku might play some zone to stay out of foul trouble. -- I think that KU playing zone now is almost a given. - I think this is the only kind of chance we have to even try and stay with UK on the boards and help keep Doke out of foul trouble.

Just watched Brian Hanni and Greg Gurley do a live update from Chicago talking about the game tonight.
Gurley for once actually made a little bit of sense. - He was talking about coach Self and Calipari both being man to man coaches but yet he said we might see some zone out of both tonight.
Saying if KU gets into foul trouble may see some zone. - Actually in reality that wouldn't really kill us tonight I don't think if we had to play a little zone for awhile if we were to get in foul trouble. from what I've seen so far Kentucky hasn't proven to me anyways that they have that consistent shooter to bring a team out of the zone. Read of an article with De-Sousa his guardian still feels like it is very likely that De Sousa will end up here in December and possibly be ready to play around the 29th of December against Texas.
He says he feels like there will be no problem with his eligibility just have to wait for score to be revealed to De souse and his guardian and examined by KU & the NCAA.
His class graduates in December due to the fact he started in January It is his high Schools 8th semester - It just sounds pretty good - just have to wait.

Kind of interesting today looking at the UK board. - -Most of their poster predicting KU to win, some for UK. - General trend among them seem to be if UK would win it is running pretty much anywhere from a 3-5 point win seen one 6 & one 7, however the general pick if KU wins most seem to be talking right about 14 points, seen as low as 6 points - and one as high as 26 - -that's not happening. - -seems about a 2-1 edge for KU from their people.
