@HighEliteMajor I understand what your saying, & I have heard that from several - -saying he sits the year and practices with the team during the year & then declares for the NBA without playing a minute for KU. - -I have even thought about that myself, BUT I have also heard argument on the other foot people saying that they believe Coach Self will approach Robinson with the same line as he did Newman -If you come here your here for two you - -if not then you can walk to somebody else. - - Myself personally -I don't know, my big concern as a lot of others is the baggage - -some Cancer with this kid. - -Can Coach get that straightened out? - -Maybe - -Possibly - -my concern is, is it worth the risk? - -Cancer PLUS not knowing if he ever steps foot on the floor in a KU uni? - -If it can be worked out -- -then definitely he is a huge talent would help tremendously for our inside game. just checked, we picked up two more CB'S for my boy Devon. - -Chad Lykins, & Adam Rowe predicted Devon ending up at KU CB is now 92% KU -8 % Florida.

I know this, after watching Devon last night, he certainly did nothing to change my mind on how I would love to see him here. I didn't realize how quick he was. - -Very quick, really fast. Takes the ball to the rim hard - -very impressive. Lost count of how many times he left Jahvon holding his strap.

There is talk he needs to improve on his jumper, very well could be, seen him hit a couple, didn't look to bad, - -made some sweet passes, have no doubt he will end up moving up & probably end up a 5 star, not that it matters that much - -4 star - -5 star, this kid can ball.

Just as I have been 100% Devon - -I'm now officially on board 100% for Emmit Williams & Robinson Earle both. - -- Robinson Earle looks even better then I thought, true it was an all star game, still looked very fluid, mobile. - -Robinson Earle is a guy in our backyard we can't let slip through I fingers & I don't believe we will. Emmit Williams looks sweet again it was hi-light film but MAN he definitely brings an edge to the floor very aggressive. Loves to finish, we need these type of guys, I get so tired of a big working hard to get position & then 8 times out of 10 I have seen a liltle soft bank shot or a attempted finger roll. That's pretty crazy. Although I must say as being an Basketball official for right at 17 yrs - -6 Tech"s ? - -That's kind of hard to believe. I mean a an official you can't have rabbit ears, - -you can't get caught up watching the sideline more - -the Coach more then what's taking place on the floor.

As an official if the 6 Techs were truly warranted they have the capability to call the game, even clear a gym if need be, If Bol's team was this bad then did the Ref's warn the Coach - The team ? Sounds like someone was getting caught up in the moment - -his moment of glory - -Very easy could of happened - just saying it sounds to me the whole situation was not handled very well. - -As an official you have to have a thick skin as no matter what you call there is someone who is not going to be happy with the call.

We were always told if a game is officiated well, the Coaches, the players will not even know the officials are there, a game is to be decided by the teams, not the officials. Just not a good thing all the way. Well continuation from yesterday, saw yet another pick for KU and Devon today - - Jerry Meyer made a prediction today, again I know it's the CB and yet makes you wonder if these guys have picked up on something, looks like we are trending again for him shows now 90% for KU & 10 % for Florida.

You could probably do as well by tossing a penny and calling either heads or tails, and do as well but I mean you have to at least pay some kind of attention as this is these guys living, they are SURPOSE to have the inside poop, again your dealing with 17 & 18 yr old kids who change their mind at the drop of a hat - -just as quick as a light switch.

I've mentioned so many time even I can't remember but sure would be nice if we got both - -Grimes & Dotson. Question is, would one or the other come if say like Grimes has already committed - -or Grimes come if Dotson has already committed? Or would they/could they play together? - - So if it is just the one - -do we take whichever one commits first?

Side note see ya it's a distance away 2020 but the kid out of Newton - -Berry? - -looks like the next item coming out of Kansas. Really can't get much of a feel from anything today. - -These guys were like ummm really bad. If coach would of stayed with the first five or not let up and played the walk on's and transfers it could of been 60- 70 pt win. - -you can't tell much with these kind of games

Found out today that my Wives Nephew has been named the Starting QB for Oregon State - -he beat out the other two, he transferred in to Oregon State from Ventura Community, had some pretty decent stats - - -he threw for 3,551 yds last season and 40 TD'S. - - - -His name is Jake Luton he stands 6'7 and weighs 235 lbs, - -kind of lean right now, I guess he came down with some kind of strange ailment caused him to lose 30 lbs but her doing good now and did really well in Spring training - -and then in their fall Camp took about 3 days for him to be named the starter, -- their 1st game is August 26th. - - Then her other nephew is playing professional baseball - -well minors but still doing good. - - Just kind of cool for us and killing time. - - Just wanting to share, - -have a great night my friends. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@justanotherfan Pretty much my train of thought also. - -Practice can get pretty physical - -you get big guys mixin it up, maybe one thinks the other gave them a cheap shot -- a shot that didn't need to be and so Dedric counters and just mis handles the whole thing, I've talked with some people and they fully expect Dedric will be re-instated when the team Returns from Italy.

As far as Dedric possibly transferring again - -don't look for that to happen. - -He transfers again and schools are going to take notice and the light comes on and they say TO MUCH BAGGAGE. If he were to transfer out after the as we know of anyways incident - -then he definitely has growing up to do, now we can see if he can adapt to a coach that for sure how things are going to be run. - -He can either accept it and learn and mature OR he can take the cheap way out, run and transfer again. - -He will find out less and less schools are willing to put up with that kind of maturity if that's what happens. - -I don't think he is going anywhere. - -JAYHAWK FOR LIFE

So if Lawson handled a situation wrong, and got suspended for it, then if it was Lightfoot involved situation then Coach wouldn't have waited for at least 10 days, to suspend him - -if it was that & DJ handled it wrong like a scuffle or a cheap shot or anything then Coach would of suspended him that day.
