Dook got some absolute garbage calls the last 4 minutes. But as @Texas-Hawk-10 said UNC bricked a ton of free ones down the stretch.

Crazy to think we are up 12 with Ochai, Braun and Garrett combining for a mere 2 points.
@stoptheflop the guards were pretty bad offensively in that half outside of 2 Moss shots and a couple of dot drives.
I like our odds of winning regardless of how bad we look at times offensively if we let up 18 points a half!
We might play better on the road this season.
I think every guard on this team has missed at minimum 2 lay ups. That shouldnât have been a foul, you canât let it go that long before you call a tie up

3 cheers for Les Miles on signing only highschool recruits so even if he doesnât pan out. If he keeps it up he wonât make the job ten times more difficult by being down 30 scholarship players!!
I still think TCUs is the worst. Now I havenât watched a full on any of those but Iâm serious. My contacts get dry and my eyes itch watching on that court.
@BeddieKU23 Part of the reason I believe we could be better next season. Harris has been here working along with Mitch all season. Throw in a healthy offseason for Wilson, Tristan and Braun where they can add some muscle. Then you throw in Thompson who looks like a stud, with do everything Marcus Garrett, hopefully a more consistent Ochai and David. I like that team a great deal and thatâs before mention any of our other recruits or Silvio getting rid of the dark cloud over him. Dotson and Doke will be hard to replace, no question on that. But I sometimes think that 2 man game is all we have and when itâs not going well we are just in survival mode IMO. Dots speed will be hard to replace, he can get a piece of the lane anytime but he's a below average shooter. Doke is great inside 5 feet but ineffective otherwise, Dave is plenty capable of not only hitting a few 15 footers from time to time but shoots considerably better from the line. I donât know if he can match Dokes shooting percentage but heâs a pretty big guy himself and isnât easy to move outta the lane. Moss is a good teammate and we need his shooting for sure but he is the easiest guy to replace IMO.

@dylans exactly why Iâll never go to a Super Bowl or a final four. I went to Wichita the last time and it averaged out to I believe a $100 a game so that wasnât terrible or even anymore expensive than a trip to the field house most years.
@Crimsonorblue22 why would he? He was injured and now is preparing for the draft. I watched some of his highlights and was unimpressed. Didnât even average in double figures.
@DanR I think Williams was solid but if you take away the 15 yard run in quarter one, the 38 yard TD run in 4th and the TD catch. He had a very pedestrian game statically. Even with those plays it wasnât spectacular. Obviously those plays do count and he had some tough yards for sure. Iâd say he got ate up more often than not in pass protection. Other than about 4 plays Mahomes was under pressure. It was a total team win, with the defense getting key stops, offense clicking when it had to and good special teams coverage all night.
The average cost of a ticket in 1969 the last tine the chiefs were there was $15, minimum wage was $1.45 so basically one 10 hour shift got you able to go. The average ticket price this year was over $2500 dollars, meaning without OT you would have to work for over 2 months to afford a ticket. Inflation is a problem friends.

That was a ugly half of both basketball and officiating. Good news, we are only down 2. The bad news is Texas wonât shoot that bad in the second half.

@jayballer73 the 49ers had all 3 timeouts at that point so you wouldâve taken 3 knees and punted with like 10 seconds run off the clock.
Shanahan is getting grilled on just about every network right now and I agree. Up 20-17 with less than 6 minutes to go they get 5 and a half yards on a first down run, then pass twice. Giving their defense zero rest after the chiefs ran the hurry and giving them good field position as well. Itâs like he was wanting Jimmy to do something after people had been down playing for not doing anything in the last two games. In the last 11 minutes Jimmy was 3/11 for 36 yards and a pick. Mahomes was 8/12 (including throw away to end game) for 121 and 2 TDs.
People can disagree with him being the MVP but he was nearly flawless when it counted. Eli Manning had worse numbers when got MVP. I wouldnât have complained if Williams got it but I thought he had 3 good plays, the rest were average.
@DanR ya I missed it as well, I was working on dinner. My wife wasnât impressed with the swim suit style bottom and the zooming of the camera repeatedly to that area or the fact that J-Lo came out on pole dancing. The country is in such a weird place IMO. We push for equality and not down grading women. Then we have stars glorifying being half naked and dancing on poles. I think that degrades women in some ways for sure. But I donât know anything anymore, they had that Stormy Daniel on 60 minutes whoâs basically prostitute talking on ethics and morals so anything goes.
Iâd also like to ask if KU and Snoop Dogg get a pass for their pole dancing incident after the half time show??
