KSUCK blows a 25 point lead to WVU gets bailed out by a foul call late and fouls the hell outta WVU’s last shot attempt. Then prevails for the 12 consecutive time in OT. In doing so they set a record for most OT games in a season with 7. Crazy to think how lucky they are, an eye lash from being 10-18.

@mayjay that’s why I don’t buy the racist talk of him not being hired. He has gotten interviews a bunch of times, I’d say he’s not good at them. Also as you stated he has a very concerning rap sheet with the law, tho it was mostly stuff from 30 years ago.

@BeddieKU23 I honestly don’t think he made an effort to get off the court but he shouldn’t have too at the same time.

@wissox I’m in a agreement that court storming needs to stop and it wasn’t Flipers fault nor was it Clark’s but their definitely was some acting going on in the later.

Nice to see the bench just go play hard, that’s the difference right now. They’ve only scored 4 points but were super active. This team could be very good with a healthy Kevin and them playing that way.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I haven’t seen it yet but Clark’s was a total flop by her but if this truly happened and hurt him, that will spell trouble. Never know, Traylor got bumper for us at KSUCK and an ISU broke a leg one year to no changes.

The way Kevin has been playing hero ball, if the younger guys step up we could be better without injured Kevin. Now healthy Kevin from earlier this no question we are better with.

Watching the game, I have to say I’m shocked we were able to beat both of these teams at home because we ain’t winning against them on the road.

Pretty simple to me if Houston can beat Baylor which it looks like they will with ease, they likely win the conference. 2 games up with 4 to go, would take a catastrophic end to the season for them not to win.

@BeddieKU23 Id rest him Saturday, I honestly think we can beat Texas without him. Heck I’d rest him til the NCAA at this point if it helps him. We are pretty much out of the big 12 at this point anyway. I’m honestly shocked it still seems to be bothering him if it actually is a bruised knee. I’ve done that twice before it is painful and uncomfortable but usually isn’t a long term injury. Obviously there is certain severities of it but this one is one of the most lingering ones I’ve seen or heard of. Worried me it could be something more severe that they are hiding.

@dylans I feel like the B12 refs got together and said we ain’t getting accused of being KU homers anymore. I feel like we don’t get crap for calls home or road at this point. I don’t have the metic or know where to get it but it seems like we shoot about 8 FTs less per game than opponents. Yet Hunter and Kevin get fouled often with no whistle

@dylans if Elmarko would get aggressive he’d be fine. We don’t have a single player on offense that can pull up and hit a shot off the bounce. He can do that and has several times just doesn’t do it often enough. Nick at times has soon he can make athletic plays, just need consistency.

@drgnslayr Furphy has the highest ceiling of anyone on this team likely by a wide margin. Hes a top 5 pick in next seasons draft.

The good news is Kevin should be able to make a recovery soon especially with next week being open. You can’t really make a bone bruise worse, it just takes time to heal up.

KJ fine in the second half IMO had 9 points, 3 boards and 2 assists.

Second half was really solid on both ends, not a ton to complain about there.

@Texas-Hawk-10 he as looked terrible ungodly terrible since the Cincinnati game. Has shot 33% or less from the floor 4 of the last 5 games he has played. Maybe that’s when he hit his knee idk. What I do know is that isn’t above average in any light.
