Hopefully the lid comes off from deep glaring stat is us shooting 17% from 3 and most of them were open looks. Just about every other stat is even, need to get some steals and run outs. Great call by Bill posting up Kev to get him involved offensively

@wissox I would think if they was gonnna fire Ryan Day it would’ve already happened. Would be worried if they have a bad season next season.

@FarmerJayhawk Juan was really bad and was against TCU for the most part as well. He looks scared to shoot, I’m fine with pass first we’ve had some greats at that with Vaughn, Miles, Garrett and RusRob. I’d take all 4 of those guys over Juan currently.
I’m sure everyone has heard Nick Saban has hung up his whistle after an amazing run in Tuscaloosa. Washington Head Coach Kalen DeBoer has reportedly already accepted the deal and it will be announced in the coming days. I’m hearing Washington is after Chris Klieman and is preparing to offer him as soon as tomorrow. Wow could be a very disastrous offseason in Manhattan.
I pumped my fist in the air after reading it a few moments ago on 247. Elmarko is a great athlete and will be a good player for us but he just don’t look ready for B12 basketball right now. Sit him and dont play Juan and him at the same time. As I said in the UCF game chat, with two non scoring PGs in at once. They don’t have to play defense on 2 guys.
I’m pretty disappointed in our guards all around but especially defensively. Kevin, Juan and Elmarko can’t stop the dribble drive for 2 that are supposed to be elite defenders. I’m not impressed so far this season. Offensively it’s starts with Juan and Elmarko. Hunter and KJ can’t get clean touches because the defense has 2 guys that don’t have to be guarded. They have high turnover numbers recently because they both look scared to shoot the ball. Gonna have to get aggressive and make teams respect and guard you, period.

I’m prob notorious for over reacting, I even admit it. But this is right up there with TCU IMO. Elmarko 5 assists and 4 rebounds in the last two games. Sorry it ain’t working out, glad BS pulled him but Juan also needs to be pulled at times.
The problem for me is this team doesn’t look good…. Ever, even in wins they look terrible.
At least it wasn’t Eastern Illinois at home I guess
