@dylans I actually think Mahomes is starting to adjust along with whomever calls the plays (Reid or Nagy) to getting 3. Before this season the defense was hot butter and the offense knew if they didn’t score 30-35 they were going to lose. Now I think the last few weeks we have seen less aggressive play callling in the red zone especially and they are seeing that if they play smart and not turn the ball over, they can win by scoring 20. I think it’s a smart adjustment, think of Tom Brady just taking what the defense gave him for years with a strong defense. When they invested in Randy Moss he went nuts but the average year Brady’s stats were mid pack.

From what I hear coaches son at FSHS absolutely loves it here and wants to finish school here. He is a junior WR and currently getting FCS offers

@BeddieKU23 which is crazy to think about from the stand point that OU was quad 1 and we won by double digits. Almost to the point where what do we have to do to move up?

@wissox right that was my thinking, I know they pick networks and such before the season but Temple and North Texas probably had no where near the viewership of our game. Looks like a money grab by them.

Furphy has the highest ceiling of the young guys IMO. Hes gonna have his struggles but hopefully by March is ready

@AsadZ yep that’s probably the stat I’m most disappointed with especially with a 16 point lead with 3 minutes to go.

Kentucky loses on the road to Texas A&M after the officials tired so hard to win it for them. Called an offensive foul on A&M for kicking out feet on a made 3 that they nullified. Then gave UK a foul shooting a 28 foot fade away 3 that was garbage. Cracks me up why these calls aren’t front page news like any questionable call that goes our way.

@BShark ya I honestly think we should have subbed out a few guys the last 2 minutes.

I think Juan looked better over all had 8 assists today without any silly TOs. I’m still a little concerned with his shooting, was 3/10 today 3 misses were layups one uncontested. He’s shooting at 32% in conference play. I think he can be a solid 10-10 type of guy if we start hitting some of these open 3s and he gets a few more shots to drop.

We won a game by double digits! Seems like a rare feat this year.

@bskeet it was like coach says, you play 5 games better than you are, 5 games worse than you are and the rest is who you really are.
