@wissox we listened on the radio. The offense seemed good, the defense didn't sound awesome, particularly against a pretty awful offense. My hopes were raised slightly, but at least the next 3 games could be pretty rough.

@wissox my wife and I took the boat to the lake and went fishing. It was a beautiful day - high 70's, 10-ish mph breeze and partly cloudy. A perfect day for fishing!
We caught 10 fish, brought 6 home and cleaned them. (The wife outfished me as usual 6-4)

@kjayhawks I understand what you're saying. I don't know the person in question, nor do I care much about him. But, supposedly we have free speech. Unless it offends or makes people uncomfortable. I don't believe one person in that classroom felt like he was going to shoot someone. He was just running his mouth because he was frustrated. I saw the video and (I didn't memorize it) but I think he basically apologized right then and there. Maybe I'm making that up... Anyway, he didn't have the students grab pitchforks and torches. I think, like many things, it was blown out of proportion.

You were right on regarding the point spread and I was way off.
The main thing to me is we're a bad team with some good points. Am I the only one that knew we would lose in the last 2 minutes? We've lost all 5 games this after having had 4th quarter leads. That may be Guinness Book of World Records material.

It's just that we seem to be getting worse and I don't have a good feel about the rest of this season. That might change if coaches/players were re-evaluated and we actually did something to improve the situation.

By the way, I guessed my friend's son's High School football score last night. I predicted they'd be ahead 56-0 at halftime. I was wrong. It was 63-0.
