@DanR - From the 7'2" guy who is our only real 3 pt shooter

If #2 gets another last second trey. I'm driving the 2+ hours to Lawrence and kicking somebody's butt.

@DanR I'm surprised they didn't hold hands and skip

@wissox it's also on Discovery. It's along the lines of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch - UFO'S and weird stuff in Utah. But with treasure hunts, trespassers and dangerous cave stuff. It's really pretty interesting

@wissox I watch it on Philo streaming.

Time to watch Blind Frog Ranch

@approxinfinity we need a bench player to knock the sh*t out of him. One little technical is a small price to pay to get him out of the game.

2 wont hit another 3 pointer for the rest of the season. After tonight.

@wissox same number of minutes as we should be ahead in points

It's official. I'm not an EJ fan.

@DanR They have kids TOGETHER, so there are complications...

@approxinfinity I feel like Hurley has accomplished the impossible - making me hate him more than his weasel brother.

@DanR They reviewed it and said it was a kidney to the elbow

If that guy's foot is hurting so bad, they should break it off and shove it up his .....

@approxinfinity Klingon? I was thinking more like Klinger - the wack job from M.A.S.H.

OMG - he missed a last second shot?

How much do the networks pay every broadcaster to root against Kansas EVERY. FLIPPIN. GAME?

We should be up by 20. I'm not happy. Or confident.

I'm gonna f-ing puke🤮🤮🤮

This is a scientific fact🙄. Every team we have ever played - someone on that team has a career high against us

10 pt lead is great , we should be up by 25. I don't like it

@wissox @approxinfinity - ban this guy. He used the "L" word again.

WHEN DID MARCUS SMART TURN WHITE?

I hope Bill is showing EIU tape during the TV timeouts

Dickinson may have to change his name from Hunter to Shooter

Wait...#4 in the country or #4 in their confidence?

Yay. Love me some Jay Bilas🙄

@approxinfinity BANNED!

@mayjay Thank you! And congratulations to you as well, 24 is quite a feat.

Oh my gosh. I'll have to think about my favorites for a bit. There are so many! Right off the top though:

Danny Manning

Aaron Miles

Jeff Boschee

Nick Collison

Raef LaFrentz

Adonis Jordan

Kevin Pritchard

Darnell Valentine

Argggghhh. I can't - there are too many over a broad period of time. But I think if I had a favorite favorite, it's got to be Danny. I'm not trying to be a butt, but he came back for his Senior year and almost single handedly brought us a National Championship. And he's such a decent, classy guy.

@mayjay its definitely not personal. I don't know any of these kids. It's my personality.

My wife and I have been together 48 years. I've been at my current job 27 years. Been at my church 34 years. I believe in sticking with things.

I bleed crimson and blue and I appreciate the kids who give us 4 years a lot.

I'll be wearing my lucky Jayhawks socks tonight, so I'm feeling pretty good.

@mayjay I'm not empathetic because I have an opinion? So be it. Every OAD that's been talked about for the last 15 years I've hoped we didn't get. Because - ONE and done. It ain't my thing. If you're a big Kentucky fan and think get the best possible one year players you can get - good deal. I prefer a "relationship" to a stepping stone. Different strokes for different folks.

@BShark I feel better about this one than the last one. If EIU didn't light a fire under their arses then this season is going to be a big waste. I'm looking for us to kick butt and take names tonight.

@HoraceZontal This is a topic that everyone has always been and will always be disagreed about. My take is someone like Ben McLemore, who needed the money to provide for his family - sure, go Pro. Many others do not need the money - and now they are getting money anyway - fans like me want to see someone with a love for the college, the community, the fans - someone who bleeds crimson and blue - we want them to stay around as long as possible. I'm endeared to those kinds of kids. The one and dones - I could care less.

@kjayhawks I need to broaden my horizons. I haven't seen any of these. Thanks for your input!

@wissox So, you're still on Mars? Who's your TV provider?

@wissox I'm surprised the kid didn't sue. Hey, it's his God given right to wear those tights. He "identifies" as that kind of tights wearer.

@mayjay I've not seen "Vinny", but yes! - Groundhog Day is a regular for me as well. My wife hates it. That's kind of a recurring theme in the movies that I love.

@mayjay Lol - good stuff.

@dylans I've always been a boat owner (boat, not yacht...) and that's never been an issue but it's the horizontal circular motion that gets me. Think "Tilt-a-Whirl" at the carnival. Worlds of Fun in KC used to have a contraption where everyone stepped into a large "Barrell" and stood side by side. The thing would start spinning and when it got going fast enough the floor would drop out and everyone was pinned to the wall. The day I was there, about 20 other people got to share my pizza.

@drgnslayr I've always liked your "Chip" theory. And I agree with you. It doesn't just pertain to us or to sports, but in almost every area of life when you are over confident and cocky - you stand a very good chance of getting knocked down. A hunger for success is always a good motivator.

@dylans Very cool. I can tell you, without doubt, my lunch would have been lost.

@mayjay you can absolutely play! I hope everyone does! It's interesting how we all think. Of the movies on your list, the only one I've ever seen (endured) is "Wonderful Life". My wife watches it every year and I read or nap. Lol.

@dylans Nice.

I lean towards comedies. Like you, my list changes depending on the day and circumstances. Today I'd tell you that my Top 5 (probably not in order) are:

Pitch Perfect

Just Friends

Remember the Titans

Apollo 13

My Best Friend's Wedding

My wife will vouch for me that I've seen the first two at least 50 times. Oh! Speaking of 50, let's make 50 First Dates a tie with MBFW.

Andy Kotelnicki • Nov 30, 2023 12:38 PM

@mayjay I played football and basketball in high school. I sucked. I've always loved sports though. I also coached my son's little league baseball team and my daughter's softball team for 9 years.

Because I'm bored, I'll tell you a stupid softball story. One year the softball team was doing very well. About 3/4 through the season we were undefeated. The girls weren't great athletes, but they were smart and they listened.

We had a tournament in Hays, Ks one weekend. We were very blue collar. Our uniforms were T-shirts and shorts. We arrived at the field in a caravan of 12-15 cars. Something like that. We were just throwing the ball around, waiting for the other team to show up.

When they did arrive, the game was over before it started. This team of Olympic athletes rolled up in a Greyhound bus, team logo painted on the sides. They're all wearing pinstriped uniforms, each carrying monogrammed duffle bags.

I could see the fear/awe in our girl's eyes. I called them together and gave them the David and Goliath speech. It worked well.

We lost 62-3. In 3 innings.

@kjayhawks what are your top 5 best movies?

Andy Kotelnicki • Nov 30, 2023 01:01 AM

@mayjay lol. I've never been on the field either.

Andy Kotelnicki • Nov 29, 2023 10:45 PM

I'm available if the price is right. Just so you know, I've never lost a game from my couch.

Andy Kotelnicki • Nov 29, 2023 09:16 PM

@kjayhawks Bieniemy was coaching them to catch the ball :face_with_tongue:

Andy Kotelnicki • Nov 29, 2023 08:48 PM

@kjayhawks really? The Chief's offense seemed a lot saltier under him than Nagy
