I was really surprised with the conditioning of KU this year.
Hurley is not wanting Purdue to catch fire on the 3. They hit one and he calls an immediate timeout.
@Gorilla72 That was what I meant when I said that above. He slapped the floor.
Poor Hurley is crying on the sidelines.
@Crimsonorblue22 Same. On my hierarchy I have Purdue ahead of UConn. I don’t want UConn to have back to back. I don’t mind the players on UConn, but Hurley is insufferable.
Edey is playing with fire.
@Crimsonorblue22 He is with the Indiana Pacers.
Do you attend any of Hutch JUCO games?
I read that Tshiebwe made a lot of his NIL when he played in the Bahamas. It would have to be the same with Furphy. I see where Mexico is on hold, so it would have to be going elsewhere and I don’t know if we will play in the Bahamas this upcoming year. I am guessing so, since we played Hawaii this past year.
He also “cleared some hurdles” regarding his F1 student visa. I would expect that takes time. I don’t know the legal aspects of how long it takes to clear the hurdles, but he played for 2 years under NIL availability.
NC State>Tenn>Clemson>Ill-annoy>Purdue>Bama>Conn>🤮
At least the announcer recognized that this was not a normal year for Kansas.
I wish they would stop moving the basket on our side.
@Zabudda Is that the song? “Another One Bites the Dust?”
I hope the fat lady has a good song picked out.
Does anyone have some ice to pour on the Bulldogs?
1st half is what we expect of KU
2nd half so far is what we have become accustomed to this year.
Too much watching and not reacting.
No urgency on D.
@kjayhawks Elmarko has an assist and a block attributed to him on BR.
They had too many easy bunnies unguarded.
@Crimsonorblue22 They had 3/9 on 3’s.
Can I get a 'ROWR' for the Catamounts to bite off the head of a Blue Devil?
@kjayhawks Maybe a Costco fan.
No internet all night, except finally at the 4 minute mark of the game. Cell service is not great at my home, so no luck on the phone either. I tried to concentrate on reading to pass the time. Glad I was able to see the end and will try to watch the whole game tomorrow. Glad the Hawks won!! Much higher score than I thought would occur.
Hawks -69 Samford 61
That is too bad. If his mind is not in it, though, I would prefer that he not play.
@kuballin10 So why don't you start your own topic - "Bill is Juan blind dude with respect to the PG" and voice your displeasure all you want and you can vent and we can just ignore your opinion. People that are interested could read what you have to say. That would save a lot of irritation for all of us unless you like being irritating. You have been heard! We know your stance! You have given us Pete (original opinion) and repeat ad nauseum! It would be good to hear other opinions that you have other than dogging Juan. Just saying. Have a great day! (Seriously).
@RockChalkinTexas Absolutely. He could actually put some points on the board
Jank? He is a Senior. If Bill doesn’t care about B12 tourney. Let the Senior play.
Good job KJ
@DanR Good call. Glad Cinci got the memo.
We have 5 blocks so far.
Furphy needs to shoot more. He has shot only 3 times. Timber needs to change his name to Bricklayer.
Hard to make shots when not looking to score except for bunnies.
Braun is playing hard so far.
@DanR Elmarko blocked him
@Texas-Hawk-10 I am sure the doctor’s are top notch, but I prefer to tampen down expectations in case he is not able to play.
Hopefully, Hunter is pain-free and has great range of motion without limitation.
Hopefully, the MRI is correct and there is no labral tear. Unfortunately, there can be false negatives, meaning that the MRI says it is fine, when there is actually a tear. If the labrum is actually intact, then he has long-standing laxity of the ligaments, which increases the likelihood of a dislocation or subluxation (partial dislocation) happening again.
I pray that the treatment he receives helps to strengthen the muscles around the joint enough so it provides stability to his shoulder and does not affect the mechanics of his shot in the short-term if he feels confident enough to play. I see too many people suffering the after-effects of an injury in their youth wishing they had taken better of themselves. If I had a nickel for every time I hear that “getting old is not for sissies” or “the golden years are not so golden” I’d be rich.
I am not an orthopedist or sports medicine guru. Just sharing the information I gathered by reading various articles off the NIH site.
@patoh3 In fact, he is looking at surgery most likely as there is a high likelihood of it recurring without surgery, especially if he is going to play basketball.
If Dickinson dislocated his shoulder, then his season is done. No question. Usually 6 weeks is the earliest recommendation to participate in sports.
Glad Coach K showed up to watch his team lose again.
Love seeing Duke lose on their home floor for Senior night.
We are giving Houston some great memories for their Senior Day. Just trying to put a positive spin on things. Not fun at our expense, but if the shoe is on the other foot, we would be eating it up just like they are.
Furphy got hacked and no call!
Can we get to 15 by the half?
Leave Cryer all open by himself.
Furphy, McCullar, Dickinson are 0/10 combined.
Hang it up guys. We don’t want to play today.
But 100% on FT’s.
We are shooting 9%. Woof!
We need to settle down.
