@DanR Yeah, I couldn't remember exactly how that went down, but my point still stands. If you really want to preserve a possession in the first minute of a game on a call you believe you deserve why not?
Or put another way, a call with 2:01 left gets no review, but with 1:59 it does. It's really a subjective number and I think it needs to be changed!
That's what's dumb about the replay in last 2 minutes rule. Texas should have a case there for a replay. Maybe give coaches 2 challenges or something like that.

There was a moment the other day in the first half where MJ had a chance to D up a guy ready to shoot and he made no effort. Can't time stamp it for you but I seen it with my own eyes and it was shockingly bad no effort defense. It looked like NBA All Star game defense. I'm pretty sure Bill walked onto the court and grabbed him by the ear and dragged him off the court.
I got excited when I saw the results for Christian last night. His team got waxed though. Wondered if someone was hurt opening up the starting slot and if so, do we just say he had more opportunity last night because someone was missing?

I'm tired of losing but the lustre of last year is still nearly blinding me to this years struggles.
I saw a tweet the other day that of the last 7 opponents 6 have been top 15 and the other was Kentucky on the road. Tonight of course makes it last 8, and then we go to Oklahoma who only smacked down Bama so bad they came back pissed and beat LSU by 40.
Our wonderful point guard will hum tonight and we'll handle the traitor turncoat texans by the slim margin of 61-60.

@cragarhawk IDK, I think your analysis is wrong. These guys would run through a brick wall for Bill Self. Massive lack of pride and heart? These guys? Bill would kill them if he didn't think they weren't trying. Losing 4 key guys off a NC team is really a lot to overcome. I think there's a little bit of a recruiting issue that has left this team without more depth, but that's easier said than done.
We're the defending national champions so I can take this.
