Doke been getting some minutes this week for just about the first time all season. In very limited action, but still playing in 18 games, he's missed 3 shots all season. 16-19!! He's logged a third of his minutes in the last two games. Glad to see him getting some run.
DEVONTE GOES OFF IN HIS SPURS DEBUT!!!! Sorry for the caps, but he scored 31 freaking points and the Pelicans were hardly playing him anymore making me think he's washed up. He did jack up 16 threes to make his 6 three pointers. And the Spurs are horrible so maybe it's not too much to get excited about, but wow, 31 points!
This is great stuff. We've got the toughest league. Does this league have a team tough enough to win it all? Until Baylor and us won it was kind of the annual embarrassment of being deemed the toughest league and then no one from the league wins it all. The BIG shared this ignominy and still does and I'm hoping that league can win a title one of these years.
@Kcmatt7 I think the most shocking part of that is Louisville Kenpom 304. Every so often, once or twice a year I look at it to see the lowest rated power 6 school. It’s rare a team is even in the 200’s and to think that Louisville is down there with the lower rungs of low majordom.

Pretty interesting that when you ask who is a blue blood the names Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, Indiana, UNC are the most commonly thought of. Us and UCLA are the only ones playing at a high level right now, and of course, that's even a debatable term for our team. Students at Indiana and UCLA have never seen their team win a NC. Kentucky fans in HS basically don't remember a Kentucky championship unless they really paid attention as 6-8 year olds. So there's really only 3 bluebloods with recent success, the 2 carolinas and us of course.
It's a cautionary tale. It could happen to us. Some slippage is going to happen sometime......I think? Lets enjoy the ride now folks!! Making the tournament every year since 1990 is a record that may go unbroken for a long time in sports. It's making the postseason for 33 years in a row. We have the best arena in American sports...possibly, Wrigley and Fenway, and Cameron would have their supporters. More than half my life has been consumed by KU basketball and all of the attending fun.
Sadly the Badgers went into a swoon after Tyler Wahl missed 3 games for ankle injury and hasn't really been the same since. As much as the Jayhawks have lost since New Years, the Badgers have lost quite a few more and just look really bad right now. They're playing their way into the NIT I'm afraid unless something clicks. They have 2 wins since January 3.

@benshawks08 @BShark Thanks, I kind of figured it was some sort of paint touch, but off the bounce perplexed me. It indeed was evident last night. Credit ISU with limiting our paint touches as well. That was as good a defense as we've seen quite a while.
