They should do like the NFL. A penalty like that in the end zone has got to be placed on the 1. I mean in a way it's cheating us because he's scoring on that play no doubt.

@BShark Ever since the arrogant coaches arrogant son taunted the AZState student section (after a stirring 3 point win against 3 win ASU) the Buffs have gone 0-5.

I know this is not exactly sociologically approved, but my 2012 NC game experience taught me all I needed to know about Kentucky fans. The French Quarter and Superdome is a great venue for this game because everything is walkable. So all day Monday my wife and I were wandering around with fans of both kinds. Easily identified by the shirts/hats being worn. A kentucky fan walks by with a t shirt that says "this bitch bleeds kentucky blue". I couldn't believe someone would walk around wearing a shirt calling themselves a bitch. I saw similar crude shirts affiliated with Kentucky that day. I know I may have missed one or two that may have been off color Jayhawk shirts, but I didn't see any.
Game time. We're half way up the upper deck in a very neutral fan section. Right in front of us are a group of 8-10 Kentucky fans. They're all young enough to be my kids, but looking like recent college grads. They're standing. Ball is tipped, Kentucky scores, I'm thinking OK, they'll sit down now. No one else is standing. I ask them if they could please sit down and one of them points to the big screen on the scoreboard and says "you can just watch it up there." I still can't believe he said it and I still can't believe I didn't 'accidentally' bump into him sending him tumbling down the steep upper deck.
Classy, I met several, arrogant, rude, redneck, etc, I saw a lot.
I always hated the coach of Duke more than the players except for the two being mentioned, except never hated Laettner, so it comes down to tripper boy. Someone help me remember why Laettner is hated?

@BeddieKU23 The alley oop pass from past half court to KJ should be on the highlight reel of the season. I don't watch much sportscenter anymore but would have been disappointed had it not been featured.

5 of 6 on 3 pointers, but DaJuan needs to step up. Holy cow, step up from that performance last night? A couple of silly turnovers early on, but the KU Jayhawks are now 2-1 if they didn't have DaJuan Harris playing last night.

Watching the 2nd half again and goodness did KJ get screwed by some bad calls or what? Early in the 2nd half he has equal position with a blue shirt guy for a defensive rebound. Ref calls it on KJ, then of course the really really really bad call that Bilas pissed off all of Jayhawk Nation so much on. I felt bad for the kid. The call he fouled out on, not sure I remember it being too bad.

@dylans Good stuff. One of my favorite memories is the game Cole had against UNC during our championship run. He didn't contribute much in the championship game but helped us get there. I was a little disappointed in his NBA career, thought he was going to have a long run in the league, which he kind of did, but not as a dominant player.
@nuleafjhawk That's cold man. Their grannies? Their cats? Heartless......but necessary because who cares about those things? We are about victories so never ever feel bad about doing what it takes to light a fire.
