One of my favorite Jayhawks Mario got traded to Memphis last week. I'm sure the faithful there might remember a certain 3 pointer he made, but he has been rejuvenated there. Here's the line from the AP story that made me smile:

Mario has been in double figures in all three Memphis games and took over against Nick C and OKC in the fourth on his way to 29 points last night.

I just questioned it as Izzo does run a clean program but with his Detroit and Flint connection attracts talent that some people characterize as thugs. I don't like that term to use for people as we sometimes will call someone a thug without even knowing them.

@JayHawkFanToo LSU is missing their starting point guard. I watched Simmons last week in person. Very impressed. But they lack a strong inside game so that's going to hurt them.
