@wissoxfan83 It goes without saying that all of us want a National Championship. Why not just go ahead and win the league while we're at it. Losing does not equal winning. I believe we won the Big 12 the year we won the NC.
@Wigs2 How does losing a Big 12 Championship help us win a National Championship? Will having a higher seed and being put in the Western Bracket allow us a better chance? What would your plan be? Every year, each of us on this site want a National Championship. Will it automatically happen if we lose the Conference. It is kind of a special streak. Do we need to change Shoe company's? Get someone other than Self who will listen to the fans?

Having a 5 star going to Cal reminds me too much of the movie "Blue Chip."
Something very fishy about a top player who wants to go to a school that won't be on TV until after midnight for most of the country. Maybe a shoe company wants to expand to the Northern California TV Market. This makes no sense at all.

I was reading Tom Keegan's article about being a Final Four Contender on the old site and made the mistake of reading the comment section after I fake answered a Google questionnaire. These folks make @KUinLA look like a real Jayhawk and coach Self fan in comparison. Who is this Crain guy?
Real trolls pop up with, "So what, we'll will still lose in the round of 32."
I'm a big Coach Self fan that does not attend any practices and trust that he knows far more than I do about coaching. We criticize coaching decisions on this site but we attempt to do our best to explain the reasoning behind our dissent. I have friends that back other schools in the BIG 12 and for years I have been hearing about how unfair it is that KU gets all the breaks, all the recruits and all the attention. We would not have all of these jealousy's and protest if our coach was not a winner that sometimes wins Conference Titles with teams that sometimes aren't the most individually talented. The 2012 team was to me, one of the best coaching jobs I've ever seen. Yes, we are spoiled and are getting criticized everyday on the radio for being jerks, but I am pretty sure the so-called fans they are talking about live at the old site. I will continue to read the articles and give a fake answer to Google to read it, but as others on this site have done, I will quit reading the comment section.

Will Svi and Diallo even play against Canada in the two exhibition games?
Lucas will start. This summer of strength training and his ability to be very good with the fundamentals of a big man will make Self very comfortable with him in that position.
Mari might start if Perry moves to the three and Mari improves offensively like he did towards the end of the season.
Minutes will be shared and someone fresh and different with a completely set of different skills will give Coach so many options. If Diallo can absorb instruction half as well as JoJo the he will start sooner than later.
What can Brannen do to rehab after hip surgery? Svi has been offered the position on a silver platter. If neither can do it, then Devonte will be on the court with Frank more often than not.
We are more up in the air about this season's starters after Korea than ever before. Having Svi and Diallo to practice against will make those who are playing much better as the summer of free practices go on. The edge that Kentucky got last year by playing national teams before the season now will help the Jayhawks hit the ground running with more of an understanding for all on both sides of the ball. I don't want to be embarrassed in Korea, but whatever the outcome, the Jayhawks will be much better off in understanding the system of Coach Self.
After Ingram, who we really never had a chance to get him away from his home state, people were bashing Coach Self, saying that it seems like the one and done's don't want to play at KU. Coach recruited his butt off and made several in-home visits with the family. Bragg and Diallo are two of the best Big Men in this class. Well done, well done, well done! Back to being the best defensive team in the country.
