My opinion only, KU must not lose more than four games to win or tie for #11.
To do this, they must sweep 5 teams. These are TCU, Texas Tech, KSU, OSU and the most difficult would be Baylor, now ranked in the top 25. We must then split with OU, Texas, ISU and WVU. Right out of the gate on Wednesday night, we must go into a Conference opponent's house and have the second half energy that we had against UNLV.
Two of the scouts that had him at Kentucky now have him going to KU.

This team looks like the perfect opponent to face after the Holiday practices. Temple did scare me with the long road trip and against a packed house in Philly. The Golden Flashes will not be take lightly. This is a good warm up game for a surprisingly powerful UNLV squad.

Life is so much harder now for the Norman Dale's of the world. Why did we build a $25,000,000 basketball dorm. The Oregon uniforms which attracts athletes that never thought about playing football or basketball in the Northwest where you are never seen on TV. Bring back Converse.

@approxinfinity I completely agree. I'm feeling much better about this team while re-watching the Georgetown game. The free throw shooting against Temple showed me how tired they were.
I remember being at a bar in Columbia where people had on Bucknell and Bradley shirts. None of them knew the score of the MU game played that night.

It is not the falling down, it is the ability to get back up. Christmas Eve is a time to count our blessings. KU Basketball is a way of life for most of us on this site. I was mad last night and I threw my bottle of blood pressure pills at the wall when we missed the front end of all our free throws. That was when we were down 6. I think blame and responsibility can be shared by all. They looked tired, tired, tired. Shots did not fall, Greene played matador, Cliff was a bully in high school but is playing with men and does not block out. All of Perry's shots fell off the rim. His dejection on the bench at the end of the game tells me he hates to lose. How often on the same day does Manning throw 4 interceptions and Self lose by 25. IT ALL SUCKED!!!! Blame will not make us better. Listening to coach and doing it his way has worked and worked well. We are not UK right now. No one is. we'll get better- WE WILL GET BETTER. I hated my high school coach, but we won 31 straight games. I still hate him. Yes Roy could coach, but remember the fire in Nick when KU lost a bunch before Nick hit his Minivan and dented the door. His next game was the 20+/20+ against Texas with a standing O from Vitale. We'll find out against Kent State next Tuesday night - you will, I'll be blacked out by Time Warner, who has the brass family jewels after Xmas practices. This whole thread sounds like people should get pitch forks, start the fires and storm the castle. Calm down and schedule a meeting with Coach and tell him what he should do, and why you are unhappy with him. Call him on his coaching show and say all of this. @JayHawkFanToo My exact thoughts about being blessed with the big men before this year. Going on the road cross country to play a team of Seniors with a group of Freshmen and Sophomores with our one Junior having the worst night of his career, when our shots aren't falling equals blowout.
Even the announcers commented on Greene's poor defensive ability, as he followed his man twice around a screen to watch a layup. Greene's defense ability seemed scouted by the other team. I don't want to pick on him, but we are going into conference play against the #1 RPI rated schools to play on the road against teams foaming at the mouth to play us. The quality coaches in our league can't wait for revenge after 10 straight years of having the Withey's and Embid,s and Aldrich's ruin their plans. Nike is loving this.
Or those 7 games could add 7 more coaches to their 7 more "worst loss" lists. Like Self, Alford was probably asking for Vodka at the post game.

The UK - Louisville rivalry is as big as any in the country. If UK steamrolls Rick like the other 7 coaches this year that have received their worst loss at the hands of the All Stars, then what further proof do you need that basketball is broken.
