It's certainly a factor no matter what they say or what procedures are in place to ensure partiality. It's still an invitational at the end of the day just like the College Football Playoff and the committee decided UNC was in
That really seems to be where the focus needs to go this offseason. I think if we are targeting starters- you need more complete skill sets to play under Self. If we are looking for rotation guys, then a shooter who might struggle in other areas is fine. Moss, JCL filled these roles great in the past but they weren't full time starters where their weaknesses would be exposed as much as we've seen with Timberlake and Griffen/Storr the last two years.
CBS planned ahead by having that scripted interview with AD and the other guy after so they could get in front of the headline during the show. Every year it's a hot topic of which P4 team gets in that really didn't deserve it. UNC beats Duke the other night and it's not much of a discussion.
West Virginia certainly should be pissed but losing to Colorado really hurt them in the conference tournament it appears. 3 strong non-con wins, two very strong conference wins including @ KU. Resume wise seems like a no-brainer so i'm not sure how they were able to justify UNC over them.
Fland may play, he's available but we shall see.
It's not like this team is any better then october
@Jhawk69 said in Bracketology:
Our two options are either:
A: Have Arkansas end our season again or
B: Watch Zuby dust Hunter and end our season
The latter would really suck but would at least ensure we won a game
We already got dusted in an exhibition game against this team
Playing calipari lol
Well he's not a good defender so that's a big limitation but offensively he's better then Flory. It sounds like there's a few programs already in the drivers seat and KU isn't one of them.
As we know anything coming from Fran's system is a big question mark defensively since they don't teach it.
I'm sure he's not anything like Storr character wise.
Dix is intriguing as a shooter from them but same deal, good on one side only
247 expects KU to kick the tires on Freeman. Would be fools not to
Same mistakes over and over
Correct 23 is his career high against uk
Harris season high is 17 against uncw
@jay4ever said in Arizona beatdown!:
Juan's best scoring game so far in the season or career as a Hawk?
He's close to his season high
ZEKE
Lol makes that but missed 65 dunks and layups
End of half, end of games. This team sucks
Hunts a liability tonight on both ends
Adams is like 0-100 on layups
Can't make this crap up
Diggy listed at 5'11 is hilarious
Diggy got some fire
Beautiful pass
Feels like it's just a question of how badly it gets. It's there already
Haha rylan
Gotta trap and double every play. It's a staple of self tho so
Nice job juando!
Good job juando
Short 3s from mayo already. Not a good sign
Wow hunt couldn't have a worse 5 minutes there defensively
Top notch job. Espn is robbing him of his calling card
Damn
Rylan is 22/75 from the field (29%) since February started. He hasn't played like a starter in almost 2 months outside a play or 2 a game. Don't get it with him
Duke's savior left their game today with an ankle injury and did not return (Flagg).
Not surprised. BYU is perhaps the hottest team in America having won 9 straight and 13 of their last 15 dating back to February 8th. Very dangerous team heading into March if they continue to run the table.
Says he will be out a few months more, hopeful ready for summer workouts.
We can just put a giant kibosh right now about him being a factor for next year.
Hopefully they will treat him like he's the 14th guy and recruit over to fill the gaps we will have at the 4 and behind Flory (hopefully).
Another not ideal situation occuring similar to Elmarko's last year. They have time to adjust at least
Totally got my hopes up last night thinking we'd play well enough to win fairly comfortable but that's just not reality. It's unfeasible at this point to believe this group will change in any meaningful way. They are who they are.
Today's another day to learn from yesterday. They closed out and won an OT game, there's my optimism. Consistency will have to improve today to win against a team we just beat 6 days ago but in Allen. Going to need big games from Hunt Mayo and whoever else shows up again tonight. Will they have any legs left in the tank in the 2nd half.. we shall see. 4 starters played 36+ minutes last night.
Not yet, I think we will probably hear an update on him once the season is concluded.
Tiller had ankle surgery recently. Another setback
Lol
Lolz
Dumb
Another sweet pass
Pure luck
It's happened every single time this yr after a timeout in this situation. Every one of them
Like clockwork a turnover
Turnover incoming
Finish
Good
Bullcrap call
