Wow that's a foul
Nice d kj
Can't make a simple layup
Just like when he got hurt. Playing to his own detriment
Nah that's his favorite pet
LOL
Another awesome shot
He's checked out which is normal when we play like this
Hunt is 2-8. Good times man.
Yes we should totally miss 3 foot shots over and over
Kj is not even doing anything out there
@patoh3 said in KU Mad, Central Florida next on schedule, part 2.:
Hunt has 0 rebounds.
He'd have a few but he hasn't tried yet
Gotta love the effort from hunter so far.
First good pass from mayo in many games. Nice
Storr is a ballerina
Nice hands kj
Nice coit
Passed up a 3 to brick a layup
What a joke of a make
Dead crowd at home while losing. Always going to help
Self has lost this bunch
4 turnovers in a row
I will never stop rooting and believing they can win a championship but it's really so far from reality with this team
Oh my passmore. That's not good
Street ball i see. Just a non serious team

Its so simple, their egos are malleable, their brains are sponges, they are capable of grasping fun without winning, there is joy!
Coaching my 8 year old. Same

I read where KU has made Alijah Arenas final five schools,-- KU- -Ariz - -Kentucky -- Ku -USC - - - - I saw off Rivals future cast- - KU/UK tied for him right now
KU has no shot with him, Zona I believe leads
I think there was quotes from Self about the Flory/Hunter combo being not good in pre-season. Obviously, that's evolved into a situation that is good. Not sure they knew Flory could impact the game at the 4 like he is but he's feeding off Hunter's attention and making a huge impact as of late. Houston was a good matchup for Flory as they play athletic guys that don't shoot from the perimeter. Having KJ for teams that have 4 men that can shoot is probably the best way to tackle those kind of matchups for 40 minutes. As long as Flory's minutes stay around 25 we are good.

I don’t care if anyone on here gets on a player whatsoever but if you take the time to message a player something negative or threatening, that’s right up KSUCKs alley. I’m friends with Zeke and Juan on Snapchat. I usually send them up lifting meme and such they respond fairly often. Juan the other night asked if I could deliver him the pork chops I was cooking. Told him they’d be too cold by the time I made it lol.
Yeah that's awful to hear people do that. I would hope nobody on here is one of those who do.
Ideally Flory, Griffen, Jackson, Passmore return. Then you have the trio of Peterson, Tiller & Calderon from the HS ranks. 6 of the 7 are guys that can help you next year right away. Peterson is the star you build around with Flory. There will be a lot less older guys in the portal this coming cycle due to the covid years expiring and whatever else gave guys 6-7-8th years. So i'm not sure what kind of market will be out there for players but imagine it's going to be a bit different this year. We have a lot of needs for sure.
Probably need 2 guards, a 4 man and another big at minimum that can plug into the rotation. After that who knows.
Losing 6 Sr's for sure unless the rule change for eligibility throws a wrench there. Storr, Clemence are wildcards from guys who have played. I think Elmarko and Passmore would return. Flory and Griffen as your building blocks of guys that are playing big minutes. You have 6 possible returnees in total. I don't think we will see 6.
We have Peterson, Calderon and Tiller currently from the HS ranks. There's 9 possibles, figure the variance there is 2-3 guys.
So, if you're talking 15 spots you could see anywhere from 6-9 spots needed from the portal or perhaps some HS kids in the spring. Going to be mostly a brand new team next year.
There was a lot of good things from yesterday. Flory is a difference maker out there. He's one of the most exciting freshman we have had here and plays his tail off.
Rylan Griffen finally gave us one of those shooting performances that get you excited for what he could do in big games and he delivered. Had some big rebounds as well.
If we are looking beyond this season, both of these guys could be building blocks for next season
Once you are there anything can happen. This felt like one of those tournament losses to Northern Iowa, Bucknell, VCU. Not the same circumstances but just how deflating it felt after having what looked like two leads that couldn't be taken away.
Here we go again with the fatigue excuses. He has Shak and barely played him yesterday for whatever reason.
Lots of blame to go around for this one. Certain senior players made costly mistakes, missed free throws, inbounds mistakes. Our coach did not prevent the inbounds blunders from happening twice. That's been a pattern in his tenure here unfortunately over the years.
I can't think of a more shocking and disappointing loss at home. This should have been a big win providing the kind of momentum that propells seasons forward. I would be shocked if this one didn't weaken the locker room and didn't have an immediate impact on the next week. That's a haunting loss for all.
I would be shocked if we brought the same level of effort on March 3 when we play them again. I would love to be wrong, maybe they will recover but we've seen this novel play out before.
I'll continue to watch and support and hope this was just yet another roadblock to overcome but it's getting difficult to say that anymore
These guys are 22-24 years old, the excuses are done
They just showed they don't know how to close games.
This will be the nail in the coffin to their season hopes for sure. You dont recover from a shitshow like this

We got out coached at the end of game for sure but your 6th year senior should at least go 1 for 2 at the line
He's been doing this his hole career
Great effort hunt. Typical for you
It all makes perfect sense
Well deserved l
I'm done
Missed free throws again
All you had to do was make a free throw
Yeah thanks juan

Criminal offense if he's not starting the rest of the year. Truly
