Yeah he was still showing freshman things but effort was not an issue from him and I thought his defense was something that was really coming along. The fact that Self has nobody but Harris to throw in at the guard position has really created an issue. Harris has his value but he's not a scorer. Bryce seemed like a guy that could be a microwave scorer and that has hurt the offense to some degree.
An average shooting team for KU would yield 2-3 more wins then they have. Just hope they can find some spark on O
They lack a big and have to play a lot of athletes at positions that don't fit but agree they can beat anyone if they make 20 3's in a game which they are capable of doing.

He is about the same I agree. He has the role that he wants which is being a ball dominant guard, the role he lost to Dotson while at KU.
No problemo, this one doesn't seem in a hurry to decide which actually could be a benefit if some spots shake open after the season. He's a shooter which we desperately are in need of
Four-star guard Brandin Podziemski will cut his list in late February. Hoping KU makes the cut. Shooting over 40% from 3 averaging 35 a game.

Status: Rylan Griffen was once rumored to commit early last year but is now looking to wait things out and make a decision right before his senior year. Kansas looked to be the original favorite, however, Arkansas, Arizona, Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Memphis have made up ground.

I'll continue to take my crow served with dinner regarding Grimes. Just a complete whiff from what I thought he'd be at this level. Seen some of his games this year. I will say this, he's a better college player now then he was when he played for KU. Good fit in the AAC.

Some stuff to mention
Since Jan 1st...
Dave- is averaging 14.8 points per game. It's clear Self is rolling with him as option 1/1A at this point. We did see him passing the ball pretty well last night off the catch. The not so good- only 5 boards a game. He's had 4 games since January where he's had 2 or less rebounds in a game. Seems impossible to happen for someone that big. Last night was his 4th double double of the season. He's lead the team in scoring in 6 of the last 9 games (since Jan 1st)
Braun- had 18 points and played with improved effort last night on offense and rebounding. Made 4 3's which is more then his previous 3 games combined. When he sees the ball go in it tends to improve his confidence. Last night was only the 6th time Braun has hit double digits in scoring. KU is 5-1 in those games. Need him scoring more and hope the K-St game fuels him.
Wilson- Back to back games with 10 points and getting rebounds again, 7.5 over last two. The not so good- 5 of 20 from the field, including 1-9 inside the arc. He made layups seem really hard last night. He's trying to get out of the funk you can see. For someone that has as good looking of a shot as he does his numbers don't reflect. I think the staff has some work to do on correcting balance and preparation on his 3 ball. You can tell when he's going to miss, much like Agbaji last season. The next evolution for him as a shooter is to get that form right. He is someone that can be a 40%+ 3 ball shooter and upper 70's guy from the line but just inconsistent.
Enaruna- Great activity last night. Still not giving us much offensively but loved the effort from him. Had a really nice block on a jumper that was something new.
