Let's do it
7 for me and yes since I go into work for around 5 am
Not sure Vegas will react to that but that's worth several points.

Momcilovic is likely OUT tonight and for another 5+ weeks with an injury.
Oh that's a big one. He's not a great matchup for us at all.
I'm really hopeful this bunch rises to the occasion. They know it's a big game. If ISU guards them straight up and doesn't change their style to sag off Juan and KJ I think they can win this game.
Gotta score points, make enough 3's to keep the gameplan honest. Push the pace and never stop attacking the basket. Only way to overcome the crowd and what will be a biased ref crew will be forcing them to actually call fouls.
On defense we just need to limit foul trouble in the post and keep Gilbert away from the FT line. I'm hoping Shak gets that assignment to take the head off the snake. Rebound and stay in it.
Should be a good game, i hope. These kind of games are what Self lives for
Hmm if Iowa St hadn't blown a big lead against them in their matchup we'd be calling them the best team so far. A combo of those two teams have visually looked tops and probably a gap after that. Auburn's defense isn't as good as several but they certainly can score with the best of them.
Gilbert of Iowa St is a sneaky top player that gets no recognition. I think he's a baller. Just a solid team overall
And large part because of the money difference the two conferences get that is shared to schools. The investment from SEC schools in basketball has increased dramatically

@BeddieKU23 We do have a neutral court win over Duke so we know this team can beat other elite schools on a neutral floor.
Sometimes those early season games are not the best indicator but you always hope they are a sort of predictor of how the team would handle neutral court games in the tournament

I mean the offense is not nearly close to the level it needs to be. #32 ranked on Kenpom, the d is rated 28 places ahead. They have been struggling to score all season long. You need to be proficient and good at both ends in March. Defense will carry you so far as it has lately but this is the regular season.
And how freaking weird is all that!? Totally the opposite of how we thought this team was built. Thought we’d need to score 90 per game to compete!
Good point. I'm still not sure we can play this kind of defense against say Iowa St or Houston coming up and but it's been impressive to see the lock down defense of late. If the offense does come around not many teams can beat them

Hopefully as time continues on we'll see improvement on offense. We play the best team to date on Wednesday in their gym and it's crucial we see a level of offense that can compete with the big dogs.
Good research
Big time play. The emotions after was well deserved
What a 2nd half, still ugly but got the job done. Clutch buckets late
Can't shoot
Lifeless bunch today
Nati is favored to win
It's always interesting to see when players are not motivated by Self's coaching style. I guess it's not for everyone, there's a standard to uphold and I don't think AJ has bought into it. Easy to say from the outside but he doesn't show that he fits here, which is crazy because his athletic profile and body type is meant to thrive here. With his recent struggles I'm imagining they will try and figure it out in this important 5 game stretch we start today. Team has been healthy so far but we have upcoming games against two of the most physical teams in the nation. Any injury is going to put the focus back on AJ having to be a factor. He needs to figure it out
A scorer with what they thought was untapped potential to be more then just that. If they paid anywhere close to what I think they did yikes
Storr just isn't a fit here. They shoulda known better but it was a bad eval and here we are.
Sucks for both sides. If Moore and Rylan continue to ascend as we are seeing then we don't have to worry about it too much.
He will be at his 8th school next yr
He's been sore after games still so probably best approach in the short term. His minutes are here to stay and is showing why he's now a starter
Wow gave up 13 Points 2nd half
Didn't realize snacks was still getting coaching gigs
Arizona St has 8 pts in the 2nd half
Bidunga with another slam
More shak please
BIG TIMMA
SHAK
Alright I likey
Nice play by hunt
That's a flagrant
Team is allergic to making open shots
They have 6 freaking guys to play
I just don't understand how poorly we are playing at home
I can't
Bad d by Juan there
Good grief you called that
We have struggled mighty with their ball screens tonight
Yeah you can't play that kid
One of these games again
Bad call
Wow.
Awful storr
Ugh Juan could have really pushed the momentum forward by hitting that 3. Just missing too many good looks and keeping them in it
Defense hasn't been very good so far
Juan had a heat check
Hunt has like 3 missed looks and Moore missed a wide open 3. We left some points off the board that opening 4 but they are playing with good energy so far
Good start. Very physical game so far
Least no fran. But over under of 10 mentions to Cooper Flagg
