The Westbrook's of the world dont grow on trees. He has the speed of Felton in the College game. Hopefully when it's time he lands in a good situation. He is much more confident a player then he was going into the Combine. Should help his case

@BeddieKU23 I haven't discussed it. He's not as good as Frank was leaving as a senior. does he have a 40 inch vertical like frank? Range of Devonte?
Unfair to compare him to them. Devon as a sophomore is above where those 2 guys were as sophomores
The 1 inch seems to matter. He has tremendous speed and is athletic. Pg skills still need tuning but he is a heck of a player
Raymond Felton comes to mind

Dotson looks like a 2nd year frank or Devonte to me. I think he'll be here st least one more year if not two
It's been widely discussed this is devons last season

Dotson is averaging like 19, 4, and 4. If he maintains that he's a 1st rounder.
He may look like a first round talent to us but he really isnt getting that kind of love from scouts and those that do this for a living
But to me he is basically everything you want in a guard and I'm happy he is a jayhawk
Unfortunately I think Devon is a 2nd rounder no matter what he does. Being 6-2 with a streaky 3 hurts
Our 5th guard in the rotation is Grimes defensively. We good
Christian is a yr away from a year away of being average defensively
Imagine 4 yrs of dotson
How do you miss that
Foul
Self drills the angles and the entry pass like no other.
Slops
We passed up 3 good shots for that David jumper. Yikes
Louisville straight up sucks tonight
Tech up 9 with 12 to go
Magic I'm telling ya
Traveled too

Well will they score 40?

Ochai finally messed up. That was a bad pass when he had an easier one.
Had an easy shot
Its lit
Louisville is just terrible tonight
Should be a fun night. We don't get many of these nights

Countdown to Nova loss begins today.
Ew
Nothing wrong with that.
Some good points. I do have the expectation that he sticks to his word here but for those that are more hesitant or completely on the "dark side" with him after what's happened everyone has their own right to do so. I do think Self cares about his legacy and the reputation of the program. We have many years of seeing his character and his level of commitment/care to see that's not bogus and is genuine. I do get the feeling the way he wants to be remembered and how he wants to ultimately leave this program at whatever time in the future are important to him especially now. Unless he is fired by the BOR or whoever ultimately has the decision I think he sticks it out for better or worse. Again everything is subject to change. Right now things are business as usual. Next year could be completely different. I hope it doesn't come to the point I'll have to separate my respect for the coach and the program.
Do you believe Self's comments about him not running away from the situation in his pre-season comments were not what he planned to do?
I know we have no idea what the end result from the NOA is going to be for the program or for Self but I have never gotten the sense he would be the type to bail in the eye of penalties. I guess we will find out at some point
The rumor never dies. Maybe they are right one day in hell

@BeddieKU23 Good for him. His leaving was good for both sides and I hope he does well.
So far having a good season for Houston at least offensively.
Not much too it other then vague league sources and the NCAA thing maybe enticing the move for when Popovich does retire..
Broke his wrist, apparently.
Sparty without Rocket Watts who's dealing with a stress reaction. Yikes
Notre Dame lost a player for the year and another transferred. Down to 8 scholarship players.
Other teams finally feel our pain
Of course they are but they have some bricklayers compared to other years.
I think we will handle Nova. We still owe them.
Updated PER's from the Colorado game.
Doke & Dotson playing a great level right now.
Agbaji saw a nice rise off his 20 pt game.
The freshman are playing like freshman now.
Makes sense they beat Seton Hall this time around especially in Hilton. I thought Iowa St was a Top 4 team in the Big-12 before the season. Haliburton has improved a ton and will be a tough matchup for Dotson. Interesting that they are shooting the ball horrible as a team from 3 outside of Halliburton
The Zags/Washington game was interesting. UW has two 1st round picks and likely Lotto Selections in Stewart/McDaniels but the rest of the team underwhelmed. Quade Green gives them a steady force at PG at least.
Gonzaga is a big team. Petrusev, Tillie, Timme & Kispert are all 6'7 and taller. Few keeps reloading.
Oklahoma St was terrible again. Likekele being out is killing them.
Iowa ST got a big win, maybe Seton Hall was a little overrated coming into the season. Powell is great but they don't seem to have enough around him.
Texas beat a terrible Texas A&M squad by 10. Same theme really with that school.
Depaul lost at home to Buffalo. Guess they came back down to earth after a scorching start.
I'm surprised by that one but looks like Iowa St will be Jekyll this season. I'd imagine they will play up against KU too. Haliburton is a stud
Hopefully a nice game to Rest Dotson and Garrett while getting De Sousa, Tristan & Braun some needed minutes.
One day after they said he'd be "out a while" he played. Hmm

UNC has some injuries, right?
Everyone played today but Manley, who’s likely retiring.
What's wrong with Manley?

UVA demolishing Carolina at home. ACC looks pretty down this year.
Dont tell ESPN, Vitale, Greenberg, Williams or Reese that. They will shut you down
Grimes had 24 and 7 turnovers but pasted South Carolina
Nice! Sr that knows how to play. On this team he is everything we need. No ego, just plays hard and does his job. He will make fran look silly in big 12 play
BShark said:
Weird game to make the point from Fran, as Moss made quite a few plays on defense last night. At the very least, he is trying very hard defensively.
Classic stupid from him. Moss definitely adds value defensively and adds invaluable spacing on offense. I've been happy with him Self says he still isnt 100% yet
