San Antonio jacked up their prices for some event going on..
I'll put out a bold statement and say Billy Preston never does anything at the next level. Prove me wrong kid

Doke on Paschall however is a much better matchup for Doke because Paschall shoots only 33% from 3.Paschall is trash, and he's lazy. I watched him foul TT in the 2d half because he can't play D. He starts grabbing and pushing to make up for his fat azz.
Yes I hope that's the matchup Doke on Paschall, Svi on Spellman. We'll see Villanova has gotten away with a lot of physical play in the tourney so far
Glad to hear! Speedy Recovery
Mack gets a 7 year deal at Louisville.
They might be on probation for 7 years..
If your Xavier players you have to be pissed. Lot of young talent still there..
Still wondering where our perimeter shooting will come from. Grimes is good. Dotson needs work. Garrett needs lots of work. Moore is average but could become reliable. KJ needed work coming in. Ogbaji had a great senior year shooting. Dedric wasn't efficient either.
If Newman and Vick leave you really need someone like Langford..
Devonte needs 41 points to crack the top 10 in scoring all-time. He's still 13th, 26 points behind Hinrich for 12th.
Making a sweep of the First team awards. Well Deserved D'Tae
I agree the length of the contract will make it difficult to imagine Capel was next in line. Gets to prove himself at an ACC school though in case he does turn Pitt around

This is BIG if RJ Hampton jumps to 2019.
Definitely I was seeing a lot of dukies starting to think RJ was someone they would go after. I'm sure they still would but this puts KU in a better spot
Vacation anyone?
BYU, Dayton, Georgia, Michigan St, UCLA, Virginia Tech in the field
Capel got 7 years to field a full team. He might need em all.
USC continues to cheat the legal way. Hiring Eric Mobley as an assistant, he has two sons that are Top 100 prospects in 19 and 20
After his March I wouldn't expect anything else. He's earning right now.
I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota is looking for a new coach. It seems we positioned well for Hurt and situations around him might be helping us further
Devonte #29
Svi #52
Malik is now the #43 ranked prospect on ESPN for the Draft. From unranked to 43 is a quantum leap in 4 games..
Agreed. Haven't seen one yet picking us
Ken Pom I think has Nova at 72% to win
I know after the game Bilas, Williams & Greenberg all picked Villanova to win.
Smart betting pick
This should be a dandy of a Final Four bout, but ultimately Villanova is the better team here. The Wildcats are also shooting 78 percent from the free-throw line, and that comes in handy when trying to clinch victories and cover spreads down the stretch. Smart money sides with Villanova.
March Madness betting trends
Villanova is 4-1 ATS in its last five games against Kansas.
The total has gone under in Villanova's last three games against Kansas.
Kansas is 6-1 SU and ATS in its last seven games as an underdog.
Bleacher Report‘s Kerry Miller predicts Michigan and Villanova will advance to the national championship. Miller predicts Villanova to beat Kansas, 83-80

LiAngelo Ball is declaring for the NBA draft.
Breaking News: Will never play a minute in the NBA
Who needs the NBA? Maybe he will get drafted to the NFL by the Rams. Now that they have gotten Talib, Peters, and Suh, it might be the perfect fit.
I just think its hilarious that the Ball's are putting this kid into a position he cannot possibly succeed in. He goes from playing in a Lithuanian YMCA league to trying to impress NBA scouts. Its an insult to the players who deserve tryouts this offseason.
If Ball gets a workout then Clay Young should get one too
Could be the difference in KU landing Hurt too... Also Achiuwa who I was told Duke was trying to get involved with
It's a big shift for K's recruiting though. Capel was his ace recruiter instrumental for so many guys lately. I think it helps a lot for 2019 recruits we might have clashed with them over, most notable Hurt etc
Down goes Coach K's top recruiter...
Inheriting a great team... Zero players. Can sign 13
Chris Mack of Xavier is expected to take the Louisville job. IMO a huge mistake
Big loss for Florida St. CJ Walker transferring out. Will be a nice addition for someone. Averaged 8ppg, 2 assists

@BeddieKU23 Self has a WHOLE week to prepare his team. I like our chances!
Me too. A week to prepare against Nova this time around makes a big difference.
He is a gifted athlete, just like Diallo. But neither of them have the intangibles you need going forward. They relied so much on overpowering HS kids that they never had to learn to play tough or give effort 100% of the time. Knox, Washington, Green those guys bought in.

@BeddieKU23 He was a KU lean I'll leave it to you to figure out what happened. cough248tn3gn35Nike29524coughcoughcough.
I'm okay with how things played out. I voiced my opinion on Vanderbilt several times during the recruiting process with him. Bad attitude on the court, didn't play hard. KU has signed the opposite of that outside of Preston since the 17 class.
I'd imagine Jay Wright will be game planning for Newman. I hope Newman rises to the occasion once again. I read from some nova people they think Bridges might cover him with his length and 7'2 wingspan.
One thing we haven't mentioned yet is how will these teams shoot in the Dome? Both so dependent on 3 point shooting.. Whoever makes em likely going to win.
It's funny I remember KU after Vanderbilt for a long time but I'd watch him in AAU and I couldn't figure out why he was ranked so high. He got a ton of publicity for doing well in the events in the spring and he really had a diverse skill set for his size but I just didn't think he was that good especially since he can't shoot outside the paint. I think his injury was a distraction for the team.
Great player. Hope we can shut him down Saturday
Quinerly will be important. They do have a freshman PG who's done pretty well for them in Gillispie and I think Booth has another year to go which will seem like his 17th year there. One guy that should see a big step forward is Samuels who's been hurt a ton and was stuck behind others. Guy turned down Duke.
You could be right about Kentucky. Anyone with experience would be a step up from this season. Year 2 from Washington would be big time for them. Gabriel had flashes late, Green was solid. Vanderbilt was hurt all year but it certainly felt like he had his bags packed anyway. Richards was lost most of the year. The perimeter shooting additions could be the difference.

@BeddieKU23 You think Brunson is going pro?
Yes he graduates this spring in 3 years, been the plan from the start. That's why they got Quinerly. Kid is a winner and his father has really pushed him to become what he is.
Black left to go pro overseas

I mean, my god how did KU even win a game this year? All our players suck apparently.
Saw a funny one, the anom person was Punkate from WVU
very good point. I would try and get one of their guards as well. Either Brunson or Bridges would really change the way they play

@BeddieKU23 I actually think their team may only go as far as Tre Jones takes them. But if he is anything like his brother, he will do just enough to get the ball to the guys who can score and let them do the damage.
I do not forsee next season as a "down" year for CBB at least. I think Duke, UK, Nova and KU should be the best 4 teams and it shouldn't be close. Virginia should be the 5th team, but a tier below the first 4.
That Nova game in Lawrence next year is going to be epic.
Absolutely Jones will be the key to their team. I don't think Tre is as good as his brother but I don't think he needs to be. I have long thought Dotson is better honestly.
It's just unreal thinking 3 players who could be stars anywhere are teaming together (Barrett, Reddish, Zion). Barrett is by far the best player IMO.
Duke looks like a team that will have a great starting 5 but no bench especially if Trent leaves..
Next years UK teams looks weaker to me then this years version. That's obviously depending on what returns, if PJ Washington & Vanderbilt return that's big for them. They should have better perimeter shooting with Herro, Baker, Johnson so that would be different from some of Cal's other teams. Not seeing it with them on paper.
Nova is losing two huge pieces in Brunson and Bridges. Still a lot of talent will return, expect Divincenzo to be a star next season. That game in Lawrence will be big time as you said

Dotson might too though! HOPS! Both of them! I'd love to get Langford and just completely out-athlete people next season.
On paper we need Langford to compete with Duke's All-Star lineup next season. Jones, Barrett, Reddish, Zion.. Whoever trots out at the 5
We’ll be good. They’re going to put a soft 5 on Doke. Have fun with that. Our frontline is going to me miles ahead of theirs.
Could be Montgomery but I get the sense he's drinking the Vandy milkshake from comments..
Agree, he should have stayed with OSU. Illinois was not a move forward for him. But Underwood has jumped jobs and now has to prove he can rebuild. Getting Ayo was a big piece but this team will not be competing for anything with the roster they have.
Matthew Moyer transferring from Syracuse. Someone had to go with Bazley coming in.
Transfer list at 250+
Now 4 players gone from Illinois. Michael Finke with 1 year left and Tejon Lucas are transferring. Rough start for Underwood!~
His awesome career at Missouri is over. Shocking

Zion may be the heaviest player here, and still getting more vert than anyone else. I don't know that anyone will be able to guard him in college.
He's unreal. Will be interesting to see what position he settles in for K. You have to think the small ball 4 and even the 5 at some points. Will he shoot it well enough for defenses to sag off him? He probably can lose 15-20 pounds without even making a difference but it will help his quickness tremendously
Until recently Villanova's defense really wasn't that good. I've seen a lot of commentators lately saying how good their defense has been the last month or so. They have been good no doubt but Self can absolutely game-plan to beat them.
It's the #1 O vs the #5 O. According to Kenpom this is the 2nd best offensive team in the last 15 years..We will have to have something for them
