Having just watched the whole game - I don’t see any reason to think the Refs miscalled that game. Sure there were some bad calls/no calls as always but the FTA disparity was due to philosophical differences in approach to the game.

I can't figure out why the ESPN package with Sling does not include KU MBB replays. I'm blaming SZ and our contract.

Weren't we discussing in our non-conference portion of our season our lack of FTA due to jump shooting approach? We made a conscious decision to start driving and getting to the line. Seems by many accounts the very same factors were at play in offensive approach yesterday. With missed calls both ways. Bills was particularly calling it out in the first half. @jaybate-1-0
I refuse to feel sorry for Huggins and WVU since they use a foul so much that refs become self-conscious about blowing the whistle.

@Blown I agree. I find that amusing. Tech like TCU are less obnoxious. Even as much as I hate WVU getting away with constant fouling, would find that less egregious. Strange respect, I guess.

Unrelated - I love how people often qualify their support of someone saying such to the effect - "I don't agree with you 100% of the time". - heck, I don't agree with myself 100% of the time!
So they have 3 road games and us 1...would normally say great, but this year - home games almost more of a struggle for us.
@jaybate-1.0 I often root against the grain (actually because a friend was such a Kobe fan, I used to argue that LeBron was greater when that was a discussion...) but mostly him playing GM and being a whiner.
I thought he often put Mario down in general and then he dissed Wiggins. So those played a role too.

Some talk of Newman one "getting it". While I agree, he's got an overall better floor game going, I still think a portion of his improvement is related to full recovery from the concussion.
I concussed myself earlier this year in a mountain bike crash - even with a helmet - and even after a month, starting to ride again, I could tell my brain was not processing the action at speed. There was slowness, less ability to look out ahead because the brain was still processing the ground I was already going over.
@HighEliteMajor at the game I attended, saw Vick running to a spot unaware of DG pushing the ball up the court looking for him.
If Vick had his eyes up, he'd have scored on the break.
As you mentioned, he's deferring now. It's like he doesn't want to have to be counted on. Playing it safe. So much talent there. At times last year, when Josh J was still around, had to look closely to see if a given play was by JJ or Vick - the athleticism seemed nearly equal - but now the mental differences are showing.
