@globaljaybird big terd!!! I get the games, but I know family and friends don't! They can get ksu, mizzou, and ISU games, but not KU. Along w/his charlie hire, this was a bad choice!! Maybe the tv deal is paying our fired fb coaches!

@HighEliteMajor agree about most of your pts. Mason is for real! I think it's his team. Same old Perry. Little disappointed w/Selden, but I think that won't last long. I'm not ready to move Svi above oubre and Greene yet.. Cliffs a beast, played under control. Thought we could have blocked out better. Big guys were pretty good this game. I know it's against Washburn, but nice to see what they can do against another team. We have some depth!
@brooksmd a couple of pretty nasty screens, didn't see them. Neither did they.👀 I'd be pretty po'd at someone for not calling them.

@nuleafjhawk first I like CF. I've said this before, I think it was Baylor game, CF fouled a 3 pt shooter then fouled a 2 pt shooter, 7 pts, back to back possessions. He got the hook. He's a great kid that has broken records, but if he's not hitting, it hurts to have him out there. Maybe he's better this year, I don't know???

@nuleafjhawk when CF was in and not hitting, his defense killed us. That's why coach said he needs to be a player not just a shooter. He was a very "safe" pt guard. Coach likes his pt or combos, to create.

@drgnslayr IMO, CF and Craft are as different as night and day. Craft's strength was being a tough-nose defender, fearless almost dirty. He had great handles. His weakness- shooting.
@drgnslayr times are changing, Self rolls w/it. Until the rule changes and I hope it does, we get the best guys we can. Can Cal develop guys subbing 5 for 5? I wouldn't be happy w/that if I'm a highly ranked player looking to be developed. As for Wiggins development, I'm pretty sure he learned a lot about playing D. Wiggins said he couldn't believe all he did not know. I think he grew as much as a kid can in a year. Wiggins and Embiid speak so highly of us, it will continue to benefit us.

@VailHawk I think Self would love those guys, ex. Travis. IMO Conner's defense held him back, more than anything. I think that's what Self meant when he said that about being a "player" rather than just a shooter.
@BeddieKU23 a little confused, Cliff and oubre are over-rated cause they haven't played, but Okafor and Johnson, who haven't played either, are not? How can you be sure the new guys won't be better than Ellis and Selden? I'm so excited to see what we have!! I'm expecting a lot better D!

We knew that Lawrence was full of Kansas University basketball fans, but it wasn’t until the last month that it became apparent how many local residents also were Royals baseball fans.
An exciting post-season run has a way of bringing out the Royal blue, which bears a striking resemblance to KU blue.
A number of local events were canceled or rescheduled to avoid a conflict with the World Series games. At least some events that went forward were marked by audience members sneaking peaks at their cell phones to get an update on the games. Royals fans aren’t used to having to plan their schedules around the World Series, but this year was a delightful exception.
The Royals stretched their season to the limit. The fact that they came up a little short in their last game doesn’t diminish the surprising run of this young, talented team.
Congratulations to the Royals. You’ve certainly found some new fans in Lawrence.

@wissoxfan83 got to say, a lot of people, all over, fell in love w/a great group of underdogs!!! They never quit! Can't wait til next year!! I'm not a baseball fan, but I'm a Royals fan.
@drgnslayr Perry will be a jr, so I think we can say he improved from freshman year to soph year. So to say he made improvements every year, might be a tad premature. I bet he has, but I need to wait til season starts. Guys that stayed awhile recently, Releford, TT, TRob, Withey, Kevin Young, Sherron, Cole, Mario and the rest of 2012, 88 teams, had passion and that's why I love those guys! But, I also love Ben,wigs, Embiid, and Tarik. I follow all Jayhawks.
@drgnslayr I guess that would be me. I want the best recruits we can get. I also hope they will stay 2-3 years. They need to change the rule, if they don't, I think we still have to get the top guys. I want to win!
