@drgnslayr I've been think about Perry's lack of toughness and I think he needs to do some boxing! You know, hit them before they knock you out. Get him mad! Lighter on his feet, etc!
@jaybate 1.0 many KU fans called him lazy, didn't say you. Coach Self asked Wiggins during the TT game if he wanted back in and Wiggins wanted the seniors to play. Tarik's play had nothing to do w/Wiggins play. I was referring to all our guards that couldn't keep their man in front of them. As far as assists go, anybody have more than 2? Self wants him to take it to the hole. My goodness his stats were awesome.

@jaybate 1.0 I expect a hammering from this, but I think most of your comments about wiggins are bs. When he plays w/in the team concept, which he has done most of the season, he's considered lazy. When we have an off game, by so many today, the only way we got back in, was for Wiggins to put us on his back. If Self was going to pad Wiggins stats for the NBA, he could have left him in the TT game. He's by far, our best defender! As far as Tarik goes, it's hard for him to get any feel, when he's trying to cover all the quick little guards that we can't keep out of the paint! Hammer away!
@drgnslayr First, Wiggins proved so much this game, but he's got to have some help! Sooo, what do we do w/Tharpe? Besides meds? Well maybe meds! Do we play Embiid if he's healthy Thursday, or wait? I think TT will give OSU a decent game, wed.
Good responses, nice to hear some positives! I'm really bummed, or frustrated about Tharpe. I saw him play great d against Texas, so I KNOW he's capable! I saw him put the team on his back during the OU game at home. Then I saw him w/numerous unforced TO's at our loss against OSU. How can you explain it? I know he loves this team and Self. He cares, so how can he look so bad?
Just wow on Wiggins!!! Please no more smack on him. We are so blessed to have him. I know he hasn't always showed it, but he's a kid that's playing w/all his heart for us! Who will we play Thursday! I'm one bummed fan!

@bskeet I don't think you need losses to expose the chinks, I think SOS is the best way to determine a teams potential. Scratch off WSU. Because Florida beat us, I have to pick them. But, I think we can beat them next time. Our guards would have to be smarter than last time, and I think they are. Watching Florida games recently, their presses seemed less effective than at the beginning of the year. I'd like a rematch, final 2.
@bskeet I sure hope you are, especially if Embiid is limited and we have to count on Tarik staying out of foul trouble. Just keep hoping the KU team that showed up for the Texas game comes back! That team can compete w/anyone!

@dylans strongly agree, it's hard to pass out of a spin move as fast as wiggin's move is. I think Coach wants Wiggins to go hard and often. Not sure what to think of Mason, especially after the OSU game. Give him time.
@HighEliteMajor do you have a percentage of his TO's, compared to makes, free throws, rebounding his misses?

@HighEliteMajor I'll take Wiggins! I'm counting defense too! Adding the SOS schedule, and we have a lot of talented players on our team! He doesn't have to put us on our back! Winning the league by 3 games is huge! I'm w/coach.
I think the OAD's bring some intangibles, along w/talent. Wiggins is our best defender, followed by Selden. These guys make the rest of our team better. They didn't come here to put our team on their back. They wanted to come here to play team ball. I don't want them to go, I think they have been great ambassadors for KU! I feel strongly the rest of our team has enjoyed playing w/them too. Hopefully going against them everyday has been beneficial! I'm hoping Embiid and Selden will stay.
