@BShark If Rice comes and Braun stays you really only have 30 minutes from the bench. Bobby & Grady are going to eat up a good chunk of those minutes.

I think Bill would still want to start two small guards. Rice is closer to a 4 than a 2 is what I heard.

Bingo. I'm pretty sure we're gonna roll out 2 guards, 2 wings, and a big.

Gervin is immediately our best corner and maybe our best defensive player. Secondary will look much different come spring ball. 2 years to play:
2018- RS, 2019 - play, 2020 - didn't count, 2021 (RS SO), so 2022 he'll be a RS junior eligibility wise

@jayballer67 oh yeah, I think there are a handful of transfers in to visit. Craig Young (LB/S) from Ohio St will be in the house, so will Mike Smith (LB/Commit). I believe Sevion Morrison (RB) too. Plus a bunch of 2023 HS guys. They've gotten a visit from a player committed elsewhere. I don't have permission to share his name because of that, but he's a DB from B1G country.

Sounds exciting/hopeful/promising possibly? -fingers crossed. Hope we can show these guys how the Ku fans love the athletes. It would be awesome if somehow - -someway we could get them convinced that THIS is the place to call home. Would love to be able to land somehow Young & Morrison. -those two by themselves would be really sweet.

Fully understandable about not being able to release name , but I gotta love that he is on the defensive side of the ball in the secondary. - -We got a chance - -that's all we can ask for, if he is committed but stil coming to take a visit here - - -we got a chance , he must not be totally totally edged in stone yet - that's all we can do POUNCE. I surely appreciate you insight/info Farmer - -maybe if we both keep our fingers crossed maybe - - just maybe we can lure some of these athletes. - -

I heard plus just got a feel that 2023 is going to be really big for us heard were in good with some really good talent - -but NOW let's get these 2022 guys build that foundation some more. - Love the info - - - thanks so much Farmer keep it coming. - -I think this coming week could be interesting

I guess I can post it now THAT HE'S COMMITTED LETS GOOOOO https://247sports.com/player/kalon-gervin-78347/ ↗

Yesufu after this year is 3x2 since he hasn't used his redshirt year yet. But I don't think he's going anywhere. If it's me, I'm going Pettiford Yesufu Braun Rice Udeh/Clemence. I don't think Gradey will be quite ready to guard at KU level yet. Yesufu is almost there now.

Gilyard is announcing the 17th apparently. So I think we're in a really good spot, but he hasn't decided where/if he's visiting this weekend. Could be big. Let's hope he doesn't. Immediate starting MLB for us next year. Taj, probably too early to really tell since I think he's visiting other places yet. But KU seems to be the frontrunner now. Also helps we brought in a coach he's very familiar with. There are some academic things that have to get sorted out, so it might be a situation where he can't get here until summer, which would really suck. But because of the covid year he does have 2 to play.

We aren't involved with Edwards. Not to say we aren't chasing RBs yet. We're hard after Hassan Hall from Louisville and Seyvion Morrison from Nebraska. We're looking for a burner who can also return kicks. If APH stays he's the big bruiser of the bunch. Hishaw is a load as well.

Finally, a bonus nugget! MJ Griffin (S from Temple) was here last weekend and had a great time. He's between us and Louisville, and is visiting there this coming weekend. Would be a great pair with him and Kenny.

Dam that's sad , wish we were in with Edwards guy looks like a beast , even though were not what's your impression on him? - I could be way off but just think he would really help. As we found out never have enough RB'S the way this yr turned out with injuries. - So what's your opinion oh Hall ? - I think Morrison would be a pretty good add also.

Kenny out there doing some heavy recruiting for us - -love the kid, so is this Griffin legit ? - can always use them too. Thank you buddy for your time on this

He's a nice situational player, not sure he's starter level in the Big 12. If we had the full 25 spots I might take a flyer. Hall and Morrison are pretty similar; they aren't huge guys but aren't shrimps like Pooka either. But they can both really fly and Hall at least was a very good kick returner at Louisville. I suspect Morrison would do the same here.

I think Griffin is good. At least a pretty big upgrade over Gilliom or whoever we'd start at that spot. He seems to me like a hybrid S/LB so we'd play him, Logan, and Burroughs together in a lot of pass situations.

Anytime my dude. Always up to talk ball

@nwhawkfan I saw his sense of humor more after his presidential run. It was on Johnny Carson, and other late night shows. I think if more voters saw that side of him he would've had a better chance. He was a lil dry before. He was definitely more popular!

From the war. He actually wore inserts under his suit to make his upper arm look normal.

I mentioned before there are a few HS guys left on the board they’d take if they wanted to come. Could really use a good showing.

I read dam cant think of the name of our player currently - -but his brother is suppose to be here this weekend. Think he is from Oklahoma has a pretty much who's who recruiting him - his brother is playing for us right now this is the kind of player we could use for sure. Oh yeah! Trevor Wilson’s brother is a 4* LB in 2023.

Also heard we made a great impression on Meyers. Idk if we can get him but we really made him think about leaving Kansas.

ok , so i get to play the I dunno role lol. Lincoln Riley headed to USC. Legit shocker. I don’t get heading there instead of LSU but I’m glad he’s out of the league

There's a lot less pressure at USC right now than LSU. If the SEC keeps a 2 division format when OU and Texas join, LSU and OU wouldn't likely even be in the division as Alabama. I would guess Alabama and Auburn would move to the SEC East and Missouri and would move to SEC West.

I'm also wondering if Lincoln turning down LSU has anything to do with Jimbo Fisher's potential interest in LSU. Another name I'm hearing as a potential option with Billy Napier off the table is Lane Kiffin.

Less pressure for sure. I could see them kicking the MS schools to the East to build the West into an absolute monster.

From what I saw Riley doesn’t want to coach in the SEC and was really peeved OU is moving. The Lane Train in Baton Rouge would be either amazing or total fecal festival and I’m here for either.

Finally, thank mercy we’re not playing in the sandbox this year. No way we’d end up with as good a coach as Leipold.
