If we come out and steamroll Okie Lite tomorrow with Bean having a Bean type game (he did lead the league in passer rating last year), would you just shut JD down and redshirt him? The last 5 games aren’t exactly murder’s row and even going 3-2 gets you to 9 wins and a shot at the title game.

Ugly situation. But, there is no moral equivalency. Hamas is a terrorist organization and the Israelis should eradicate it as soon as possible. They refuse to provide even basic services to Gaza (they steal the foreign aid to build tunnels and rockets to attack Israel), they take advantage of Israel's generosity (they provide the majority of electric power to Gaza for no charge), and let their people suffer while hiding in very nice hotels in Qatar. They're using Gazans as human shields, telling them not to evacuate while Israel warns them what's coming. They lobby Egypt to not open a humanitarian corridor to let people escape. The pro-Hamas clowns have one thing right. Gaza is an open air prison, but it's not run by the Israelis. It's run by Hamas.

Ok after some beers last night with some people and whatnot here's what I know about JD. The exact diagnosis isn't known as far as I can tell, but JD is in significant pain most days. That being said, he could snap out of it tomorrow and play, though that's pretty unlikely. He's not gone for the year unless he re-aggravates it later on. I expect him back for OU, but also could linger for another 3-4 weeks.
