Lucas came up big with the press at the end of the game.
I bet the first 37 minutes were like a gift from heaven to Fran...and the rest of the game like a nightmare...
Very interesting story. Perhaps I have a biased view but is sure looks like KU is in the lead; when you have the Cavalier's coach saying KU is the best place it is hard to think it would be another school.
Interesting tidbit, they thought the dorms at Kentucky were the worst? Didn't they just had their new housing built not too long ago and it was supposed to be the best?
Bragg has a big issue adjusting to his new body. The 30 pound he gained over the summer should allow him to bang inside but he does not, he plays like he is smaller and shuns contact and does not even try the jumper anymore; the was supposed to have range clear to the 3 point line but I have not seen him take any shots outside 3 feet. Lightfoot, on the other hand, plays like he is 30 pounds heavier and 3 inches taller; he will be special in the not too distant future.
The rebounding margin was very small, 2 defensive rebounds, and considering how poorly KU shot most of the game it really should have been much higher since bad shooting translates to more defensive rebounds.
I saw that; it really is what I call a left handed compliment and Fran could not help himself from using "arrogance" as he has characterized KU fans as being "arrogant" before ....it is not arrogance, Fran, it is confidence.
You just have to have faith and thrust thy Self...you will be correct 218 out of 228 times or 96% of the time.
Most stupid question of the day...the reporter interviewing Frank court side after the game...did you watch the UConn women's team win their 100 game in a row? really? You have just finished watching one of the best comebacks ever and you ask the game MVP about women's basketball? Dang, I miss Holly Rowe...

Frankly, their forum does not feel any different than ours. Some band wagon fans and some solid and well reasoned posts.

Because of the stage, the Memphis comeback is the best. Because of the rivalry the MU comeback is up there. Because of sheer determination and point to overcome this is the biggest comeback.
