@Lulufulu well you can only put so much merit into eBay, however I found one on eBay for over 700$! I did see on some other sports websites that other years were going for 300-400 and they obviously didn't have wiggins and embiid. Who knows the exact price, but it has value, so that is fun.

@Crimsonorblue22 never under estimate what things may distract a young man barely in his 20's, if I were to bet this situation didn't help him much, maybe took his focus off the game a little. As you stated however, there is no excuse, I expect Mason to be back to his normal consistent studly self for the remainder of the season.

Word got out to my family that we were in town so the day that was to be spent in Lawrence was spent eating lunch for one hour at applebees in OP, Gross! Going to wyndotte to see my sister for one hour, visiting my grandparents for one hour and then to Lawrence to eat a quick bite at Chipotle, made it to our seats w 45 min to spare, took in the atmosphere while I cussed at an old lady who stood up in front of me every 5 seconds because she thought something good was about to happen. The game was a W, much better than tonight. I left feeling bad for the 7'6 guy who seemed to be a gentle giant yet everyone hated him in the stands. Left soon after to a 3 hour drive home to Spfd MO, not a great story but the story all the same. We will be making one more trip later this year and I will keep my visit more a secret from the family lol
I just assumed since nothing we did changed the game maybe some raw talent would do the trick.

last two games have been on the road, TT was a tough game on sat, travel home, then go on the road all the way to WV, I can't say I am surprised by how this game went. I am not happy, but I am not surprised. Here's to regrouping.
Did anyone else think Vick could of helped us in this game? I don't think he would of saved the game by any means but his ball handling seems to be much better than Svi or Greene, it would of been worth a shot just to see.
I watched the game, once Wiggins can bring the intensity every night like he does when he plays the Cavs to prove them wrong, he will reach that next level.
Hield as a dominate senior barely cracking the top 10 in the draft boards, Wiggins as a freshman a consensus top 2 pick. That kind of answers the question of what a GM would want.
I think Hield will be a decent role player in the NBA, I wish him the best, he is just under sized and not an elite athlete. His defense is avg and his ball handling is avg. He will struggle to create his own shot in the league against taller more athletic players at his position. JMO I wouldn't mind if I was wrong BC I like him as a player and he seems like a good kid from what he has allowed the public to see.

Wiggins would be a junior this year, Hield is a senior. Does anyone here truly think wiggins would not be dominating college ball right now as a junior? Also put Wiggins on Oklahoma and not Kansas and have every play ran for him and this would not even be a topic.
@hawkmoon2020 i did notice Perry showing more emotion than normal. When he had a rebound and was fouled and lost the ball I think in the 3rd OT maybe?? and the ball fell in Hields hands who made a great three point shot, PE actually showed some disgust and was ticked off with his body language after that play. i mentioned to my wife when re watching it that I thought it was the most emotion he has shown maybe in all 4 years at Kansas. I think it translated into a good game don't you think?

My wife and I will be in town Tuesday the 28th for the UC Irvine game. We have been to two other KU games but both times they were early games and we did not get to see much aside from the parking lot and the game. Since the game is late in the evening and we will be in town by noon I was hoping maybe some locals would be able to give a bit of input on some sites we could visit or places we should see in regards to the University and KU basketball. If anyone on here would be so kind we have the day free and would love to fill it with all thing KU ball! Thank you in advance!!
Let me change that, first half minutes, I thought HM, Diallo, Bragg and Ellis needed more minutes, however I am watching on a stream online and its cutting out every 5 seconds so I am not real in tune with the game

Really appreciating the difference Wayne made in this game, most notably when he kept us in the game at the beginning when Vandy was making us look silly, or should I say we were making ourselves look silly, everyone looked like freshman. This wouldn't be the first time a KU player showed who they were as a junior, happy Selden is starting to show his skills.
A few thoughts...
Does anyone know what the least amount of money someone took and was suspended for it? $165 sure seems petty and I feel not being warranted a suspension.
While watching the replay of the KU UCLA game I fell asleep and dreamed Diallo was cleared, then in my dream I woke up and knew it wasn't true only to find out he was cleared, then I actually woke up and was bummed to find my dreams werent true. A few hours later, my dream came true. I should of posted it on here for proof...dang!
Diallo's impact will in time be large and I don't believe he is our savior but a final piece that makes us a legit contender because we have a very good and experienced team without him. I would like to see Diallo and Bragg get minutes inside pushing Perry to the three. Watching Perry shoot threes this year, his fluidity with the ball as he dribbles the perimeter and the idea that he won't get blocked so much on his short armed inside post moves makes me happy. I love Perry's moves and his array of moves to get shots off inside, however he plays more like a guard trying to tear drop shots in over big men more than shooting over his strong shoulder and dropping the ball in the rim as most big men do. Perry also only has a future at the three in the NBA so this would be better for his future.
Happy Diallo is cleared, happy KU is playing in the championship game in Hawaii and Happy Thanksgiving!

I heard on espn radio that the whole campus finds Crean as a joke of a Coach. The story says that a professor came to class on April fools day and told the class that Crean had been fired and the whole class erupted in cheers. He then told them it was an April fools joke and they moaned. The whole time Crean's daughter was in that class.
I am a true homer, lets get that out of the way. Every game my Jayhawks, Royals or Chiefs play, any single call that goes against us, I think the refs are paid off. I even told my brother the refs were paid off at the beginning of the chiefs/chargers game and we won by 30. I realize that it is an overreaction. 99% of the time it is, however, The Diallo situation is what allows those crazy thoughts to enter into a fans head. As more and more about this situation comes to light, I do not feel like such a crazy homer every time I fear conspiracy against one of my teams. This case proves that there is indeed corruption at every level of all sports. When you begin to involve men and women who make and lose millions of dollars a year based off of these sporting events, teams and programs, there is bound to be corruption. I hope this is the only time my suspicions are true, but here is too every call that goes against my team being a conspiracy!
I agree, it was very frustrating to lose to what most believed an inferior opponent. I also agree it looks eerily similar to past season. I however, mainly for my sanity, try to be an optimist about an early season loss.
Don't get me wrong, after the loss and the following day, the sky was falling. I was overreactive. But after a few days, I believe optimism is healthier for my soul. And pessimism for some keeps expectations realistic and deters too much hope as to not be disappointed as every season we don't win the NC ends.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, my opinion is that after two games to have such a strong opinion on a team is a vast overreaction
