It's whatever they want it to be. They lay out the criteria, then completely ignore it.

Even the game announcers call us Kansas State.
And K-State calls us "Daddy".
Truth is, you can't get smoked by the same team twice in the last week. So, they hammered us.
I think they screwed the B12 to the wall.

My theory is we don't develop the bench because it results in losses while we're doing it. And it works 99% of the time. The only time it doesn't work is when we play 3 straight games. My evidence is a 14 point loss to Tenn, and the 100 point loss we just suffered to Texas. Go with your best 7 to 8 guys- that gets you to 80+% wins. It means you have speed bumps in preconf tourneys and the title game of the B12. Yes, I know it didn't stop them last year. But last year, the B12 was not the behemoth it was this year. We just played 3 tournament teams in straight days.

the good news is our starters can go the whole game, because they have to. the bad news? it really sucks on the 3rd straight night of tournaments. there have been Tenn vibes in this game. terrible defense. listless on offense.

I like our chances today. I don't think we've played our best game yet. The defense has been sensational, and the passing has been tremendous.
