I've thought long and hard about it, and I'm simply going to have to root for Silo Tech over Tucky. I haven't rooted for Silo Tech since Lon Kruger was their point guard, and Jack Hartman was their coach.

@justanotherfan There's a point where Coach Self's coaching can take a team only so far, and then the team has to seal the deal. Coach Squid's teams suck when they are in rebuild mode, so they make NITs, and 5 seeds. But when they're a 1 seed, they're really, really good. We make # 1 seeds with teams where we openly question how we're even in the running for it ( like this year ). We never rebuild, so coach can take his 5 guys, and get them to win to give us a high seed every year. It doesn't mean we're one of the 4 best teams in the country - it means we have met the criteria in order to get a higher seed. Our schedule is normally really good, and our conference normally is considered in the top 2 or 3, so when you're winning a great conference, that is going to go a long way towards seeding. This year it seems different in my mind. I think we have the talent and ability to win it all, even if we have warts. Now, I think we could use a little luck- maybe a Cuse upset over Dook...maybe a WVU or T Tech upset over Nova would help. But I have a great feel that this team will be playing for all the marbles..

@Blown I fill out the brackets according to what I want to happen instead of what I guess could happen. I will tell you this - as long as it has Kansas active in the bracket, then it is a perfect bracket in my books.
@Buster-1926 I've been saying all year that Dook is OVERRATED. It is a media hyped team with some very talented players. But their guards suck, and we would eat Gracie Allen alive.
Silo Tech in the Sweet 16? Is it even possible? Would Liberace break out the chandelier, and the white gloves? Have the hayseeds suddenly swerved into minor relevance, or will they blow it, and get run by a 16 seed?
Auburn just collapsed this year. So, all we have to do is win the ACC Invitational, and we're in the Final Four.

Wichita St. Why do I enjoy them losing? Why does a team that I used to love make me want to wish losses on them all the time? Why does the shiny dome, that grosteque, monsterous forehead that at times appears to stick out a full 8 inches, seem to visualize the Shlocker program for me. That's the Mona Lisa for me... MASSIVE FOREHEAD = SHLOCKERS. I hate punks and coaches that are punks.

After we beat K St, the thought of the day was " we have to play better than"... and I understand that. It's only natural to assume if we struggle one game that we better not struggle the next game. I'll make no bones about it- Seton Hall brings an elite offense to the table. the only reason they are in the 8th spot, and not a 3 seed is they lost their best scorer, Desi Rodriguez, for a big chunk of the season, and piled up some losses. And they played, and lost to 2 number 1 seeds 4 times. Still, they seem to have large mental lapses where they go on big runs, and then give it all back, so it's not like they're unbeatable. I think the game will be close, but we will win this game.
