@drgnslayr I'd love to see Wayne, Frank, Moore, Vick, Perry, and Bragg bury them from the 3. And drive right past them when they extend their zone to guard us on the perimeter. I get a feeling we'll see Vick have a real good game, along with our big 3.
@Crimsonorblue22 Maybe it was because of the movie, "Home Alone", when the mother hitches a ride with John Candy and his Polka band to get back home. Weren't they Lithuanians? Maybe that's why Candy googled for Lithuania....just a hunch, and I don't feel like looking it up. So if anybody knows.... .
@elpoyo Disagree. The team is getting valuable minutes playing together, including freshmen Vick and Bragg. The value isn't in the publicity- the value is in the 400 minutes of basketball that our team gets to play that no other college team is getting. I guess an argument could be made that it 'could" help our recruiting, but in lieu of the first rounders we've sent into the draft recently, I'm not sure we need publicity.
@drgnslayr Good stuff to mull over. I love fast breaks, loved the run out show against the swiss last night ( were any of their players actually from Switzerland originally?). The best thing that has happened to us is the struggle against the zone, which means days of practice on defeating the zone. We'll be ready for it - we'll attack it better, and we'll make teams 2nd guess themselves when we scorch their zone.
@JayHawkFanToo After watching Vick, I certainly could see him get minutes when our offense struggles. The guy is really a very talented offensive force - if he learns to play defense well, i could see him carving out time as well.
@wrwlumpy Good stuff. I thought last year that Hunter looked extremely frustrated most of the time, imo, because Landen was playing ahead of him. I have always thought Hunter was a better player. The advantage of having Hunter play behind Diallo is we still will have a shot blocking presence if Diallo picks up quick fouls adjusting to the game.
