I am 100% ok with UK and Duke taking OADs and having absolutely no depth or experience to go with it. Go ahead and mark them down for an elite 8 flameout.

@BeddieKU23 Just think Brodz was a huge mismatch and Kenrich was legitimately one of the better defenders in the conference. Not easy guys to replace.
And I would think Zhaire would be leaning turning pro. Seems to be projected 1st rounder everywhere I look. Losing him and Evans would be devastating to their offense that was never really that great anyways.

@BShark Agreed. Shaka at least has to get back to the point where he can do what he does best. He honestly recruited too well for the style he actually knows how to coach.

Real questions to me are TCU and Tech.
How does TCU do without their best defender, best rebounder and stretch 5? Guard play won't be an issue. But post play doesn't look good.
How does Beard do in his 2nd year at Tech after losing his two best players and 5 senior rotation players? Some talent still in the program, but not the same as he had last year for sure.

@BeddieKU23 Latest update on Jones was that he has started to put weight back on again which is a really good sign.
If Roach comes back, their starting unit looks nice.

Heppa and Liddell are both solid depth pieces that pose matchup problems off of the bench. Hayes might even be able to shoot himself into some PT. If they land a solid grad transfer, I very much expect them to finish in the top half of the league.

It will be really interesting to see what happens if Cal does get Maxey to come and play in this class.

Go watch Landen HS highlights and he is draining mid range shots. Then, Bill Self destroyed his confidence and he could barely make a layup lol.
But I do expect him to be a much better player than both of them by the time he is done here. He works his tail off it looks like.

With that being said, I hope Bill gives them a call and asks the to be honest with him. It really wouldn't be fair to keep three programs in limbo for your own vanity. It would be different if it wasn't two weeks away and the transfer market didn't become this 2nd wave of recruiting. But it really is selfish to keep this info from the programs if you have decided already.

On another note, his measurements came in from the Summit. A real 6'5 with a 6'11 wingspan and 202 lbs. That 202lbs could be turned into 212 lbs by Hudy this summer no doubt.
@BShark Next season at least. I think they should legit be a top 15 team. Of course Bruce will probably play a cupcake schedule again and so they won't end up with a good seed in the tournament.

Well I actually like to see another B12 team that is in a spot they can look to simply upgrade their roster instead of take guys out of need. KSU might give us more of a run for our money than most would like to admit.

Today is basically the last day to ask for feedback without officially declaring. A week from today is basically the deadline to declare. At least we should have an answer on Doke in the next week. Langford decision is in 2 and a half weeks. By then, I hope we basically have our roster figured out.

I'm honestly thinking Herro at this point. We reached out way back. But that was when Cal was telling the kid he would come in and start. Now, I don't even see how he plays.

@BShark Oh he's not going anywhere. But, Cal 100% told everyone of these kids they would come in and start or be the first guy off of the bench and play 25 mpg. That isn't going to happen at this point, so someone is going to be pissed.
